“7th of The Grand Harvest, 226 S.A. Grand King Ulfar Starbreaker, King of the Fortress-state of Kal’Kladian, rallied alongside the Holy League to annex Cordelie Winewoods from the Petran foes. The Holy League sought to use their region to create a wider gap for resupplying the troops. However, the Horenic Covenant attempted to intercept the Holy League and in post-haste constructed rusty fortifications in hopes to stall as long as they could.

Our superior numbers and our experienced warriors faced an ill-equipped foe. For most of us were all mounted and had a great surprise for them…

We had chosen the place and the time… those of the Horenic Covenant confident in their vanity, didn’t even seek to maneuver themselves into a more favorable position.

They attacked in a classical formation, like a group of headless chickens… towards the closing jaws of a hungry fox. Their vanity would drive them to their deaths!

We’d maintained some distance while they tired themselves out, and then we counter-attacked! The steeds of the Holy League were massive beasts. Trained to stomp on our enemies, and stomping they did! Our combined armies of pyked heavy infantry that dismounted their weak cavalry followed by a charge of ours broke their lines… their retreat was imminent.

They held themselves within their rusty palisade they call a fort, and we were obliged to set foot on the ground to dislodge them. We had to fight for the entirety of the day, but it was a one-sided battle, for every dead of ours, 16 of theirs fell to our combined arms. Before days end the last Horenic foe became a carcass for the vultures to feast on and the field became once again silent. A victory for the Holy League, a Victory for Grand Kingdom of Urguan.”
