Rejoice! We have prevailed, in unprecedentedly convincing capacity. Our assessment of the final disposition of forces put our casualty ratio at THIRTEEN to ONE in our favor: That is, every one of us felled thirteen of the enemy on average. If we keep this up, there may not be an army to defend New Valdev by the time we get there! However, we still have work to do. I know you all enjoyed getting to stretch the legs of your horses, but next up will be a SIEGE! We will render their castles to dust, blasting them to tiny bits again! Await patiently further orders as to precisely which castle we will be blowing up. I am proud of all of your effort. The constituents of the Pontifical States more than pull their weight- by my estimates, we are the LARGEST, MOST NUMEROUS BELLIGERENT in the entire war! We more than pull our weight, we blaze the trail to victory. With your strength, we can hope to continue doing so until we get TIRED OF WINNING!

I expect the enemy to begin to grow more desperate. We may be attacked, we may be raided. Just the other day, the enemy perpetrated an unprecedented, heinous, and despicable attack against the Holy See (which, need I remind the reader, is the basis of our casus belli). I expect that these attacks will continue. Remain vigilant, travel in groups, and keep your walls manned and your gates closed. It is my hope that readiness for battle within the Pontifical States can be kept high. TO THIS END, I am going to mandate the creation of a BIRD BOARD, to promulgate a list of individuals that can receive letters to readily form for and respond to conflict within our borders and the borders of our allies.

Lastly, I am still interested in the establishment of a PASSPORT SYSTEM. War, crisis, and politics have long delayed this dream of mine, however I want to take opinions from my constituents about what requirements a passport system would most ideally have for them. The goal of this system would be to document citizenship among the States and KEEP HUMANITY PURE OF EVIL!

"We have developed, in great detail, what we are calling the ‘Gold Card,’ which goes on sale very, very soon. For 5 thousand minas, we will allow the most successful job-creating people from all over Aevos to buy a path to citizenship within the Pontifical States. It’s better and more sophisticated. We will now bring in brilliant, hardworking, job-creating people. They’re going to pay a lot of money, and we’re going to reduce our war debt with that money."
