The Offer

To the Refugees of Celia’nor, and to the Realms of Aevos,

In times of strife, when the towers of once-great nations tremble and the cries of the displaced echo through the valleys, it is not titles or thrones that define who we are, it is the actions we take to protect one another.

We have watched as chaos stirs in the lands of Celia’nor. We recognize the uncertainty that now clouds the future of many who once called those star-lit lands their home. Whether born of political division, betrayal, or a failure of leadership, we acknowledge the hardship placed upon the innocent, those caught not in schemes of court or crown, but in the path of ruin.

It is in this spirit of compassion, unity, and responsibility that the Sunlit Council of Helious, guided by House Mah’nel and bound by the Sunlit Laws, opens its gates to the refugees of Celia’nor.

Let this be heard by all:

All those fleeing Celia’nor in search of safety shall find it within the walls of Helious.
They shall not be judged by the failures of their homeland, nor treated as enemies. They shall not be turned away into the wilds, nor forced to bear suffering in silence. Helious offers them not only shelter, but the opportunity to heal, to contribute, and to thrive.

Let it be understood, however, that this hospitality comes with the expectation of peace. Those who arrive in good faith, seeking only protection and a new beginning, will be welcomed with open arms. But those who bring deceit, who carry the burdens of old grudges with violent intent, or who aim to undermine the harmony of our people, shall be turned away or judged accordingly.

We do not extend our hands in naivety, we do so with resolve, believing that goodness still lives in those who have suffered.

To the nations of Aevos, we ask that you do the same. Do not punish those who flee with only what they can carry. Do not close your gates. If we allow ourselves to turn our backs now, then we are not better than savages.
