Zygmunt basked in the light of the newly risen sun as he ascended the Ivory Tower. A quiet sigh upon finding his predecessor, passed away in well-deserved peace.

He sat besides Stefan for a while, as the new reality set in, before descending from the Tower with a sense of purpose, and handful of letters.

The Cobbett stood within his workshop, blissfully unaware of the sorrow that had struck the world.

White chalk clenched by hands of clockwork streaked against blue-dyed parchments, alchemical formulas and automaton-forging scripts written throughout it.

Yet, at times, his mind would wander back to the fonder days of yore- drinks that were shared, the ingesting of what was meant to be snorted, the ideal and sensible prices for Euler Brand® harvested Herbs & Reagents.

What was that one up to, the one of ferrum thought. He looked forwards to their next talk.

Ceru'wyn thought fondly of the few conversations she'd had with Stefan. A fellow pacifist, as few and far between they were, and they'd bonded over such in spite of how different they truly were as individuals.

When she received word of the Euler's passing, she jotted his name down upon a notebook and uttered a silent prayer to the Aspects. Well wishes for his time in the afterlife, wherever he may be, and that perhaps he may find some semblance of peace there.

Ludmilla of Velec, an Adrian rebel who not only fought by the side of Stefan but also shared some good memories with the late-Baron grinned and cackled in evil fashion, reaching onto her stock of Euler-max to grab a drink.

She could fondly recall their memories despite the necromantic curse that now plagued her soul, finding some solace in this dramatic death. Stefan was, truly, an icon of her time.

In between all things, and in shreds of faraway madness, a once-great man suddenly recalls the finest of all feastsshrouded beneath the shell of a turtle.

He knew then that the merriest of all men was no more, and the past was forever entombed. A tear was shedfor what was left of him could still mourn.

"...Euler. Take your mirth to the Skies."

It was all he could muster. The final farewell from a Baron to a Duke.
