[!] An official missive from Clan Gylldene has been distributed to friends and family. It is unusually short, cold and to the point. Some noticeable changes have been made.

Spoiler

OOC: This is a private missive. You will know if you have received it, and its contents may be shared in roleplay.

It is with great sorrow and regret we inform you that Sera Gylldene has passed away, forever will she rest within the Halls of the All-Father. May you take solace in knowing her death was peaceful. She was struck down in the night by an unknown assailant, her final words left a mystery.

Tragedy may have taken her, but it will never erase her memory. May her name and legacy live on through her husband and children, who she loved dearly, and her Clan members, who she was ever devoted to. She leaves behind a will, which has been left with her Clan Chieftain, Farian Malto-Gylldene, to manage its fulfillment.

A small, private funeral will be held in accordance with her wishes. May His Flame provide guidance during this time of grief.

Vicnan again mourned another's passing: first his wife, then his daughter, now his sister. He did not mourn alone this time; he sat amongst his clan mates, those that remained, as each wondered who could've done this, why it was done, and why, of everybody, it had to be Sera.

"Rest easy, sister."

Solaris heard read the letter, though he did not share personal relations with Sera, he knew his father respected her highly and treated her as an equal. With that said he played a melody within the thundra, the sound of the flute honoring the passing of a loved friend of the clan.

Farian, Chieftain of Clan Gylldene, grieves alone in his workshop, surrounded by the clanking of alchemical machinery. Reactions of great emotion were difficult to manifest in his age, yet he still held a solemn look upon the will he received.

Signe, daughter of Sera, carries the sight of her mother's corpse with her. Whether through strife or in travel, the image haunts her still.

Amethyne had gone out deep into the tundra forest, as well as out to the steep cliff side of the sea, to go on some hunts and fishing by the sea to seek comfort. Having been one of the first to have seen the atrocious sights of her aunt's body being maliciously torn apart and sewn together, she could only find herself feeling conflicted between the seek for revenge and the grievances of losing another loved one.

Eimelín had only heard of the news of her friend's passing when she had planned a trip to visit friends and family in Vansk. Upon only to hear and find the coffin containing her friend's body, she could only feel a sense of loss and guilt. She laid a hand on the coffin and hummed a hymn meant for those who have long gone; a hymn she had learned from her grandmother Eloisee. In addition, she placed a penguin plush, which she would hoped that Sera would have liked to receive as a gift.
