To the Almenodrim people, the Citadel of Eldalonde, our gracious hosts the Numendain, and the rest of Aevos, 

 

I, Maeves Telemnar, am proud to announce the Grand (Re)Opening of the floating tavern itself ‘The Gold to Purchase’; Located in the bay below the city of Numenost, just outside the Citadel of Eldalonde. Serving a multitude of both foreign and local drinks- Coffees inspired by the Halflings, the Haenseni, Hyspians; Wines and Ales from Petra; And our specialty, Almenodrim Pear Wines.

 

We also have food to sate your appetite, and rooms to rent located in the hull of the ship!

Our Location

§ - To find us, turn left shortly before the entrance of the White City, follow the path down to the water’s edge and follow the shoreline to a wood bridge- You will see our ship docked shortly across it, just before the gates to the Citadel.

Our History

§ - To know one's history, is to understand oneself. 

 

The floating tavern, ‘The Gold to Purchase’ was founded many decades ago by Crown Prince Tarufinwe Sylvaeri, prior to The Almenodrim Reclamation.

 

The Crown Prince lived on the vessel, sailing the seas by himself, serving as both captain and crew; while doing so he also brewed his own drinks, and collected them from many merchants across the land- Inviting both friends and strangers on board to partake in the shared art of sailing and drinking. 

 

Now, Maeves Telemnar has taken over the role- Docking the mighty vessel in the bay in front of the Citadel, inviting her people in for both merriment and growth.

Eirien read the missive as she sat down by the water, next to the cliffs of the citadel. She hummed along as she read the history behind the tavern before she returned back inside.

 

”I wonder if they have hot chocolate” she mumbled.
