IMPERIAL DECREE | Commissioning of the Second Prince

Issued and averred by the office of the

LORD MARSHAL

 

To All Honorable Soldiers of the Imperial Reiksguard, and to Every Servant of the Imperial Government,

Let it be known throughout the breadth of the Empire, by the will of His Imperial Majesty, and by assent of the Reiksmarshal of the Empire:

His Imperial Highness Maximilian Caius of the House Horen, second son of the Emperor, Prince of the Empire, Prince of Burgundy, and Duke of Avar@sam33497, having completed many years of rigorous instruction and discipline in his youth, has  now taken upon himself the sacred mantle of duty owed to the realm.

By this decree, His Highness is hereby commissioned as Colonel of the Imperial Reiksguard, and shall be obeyed and regarded in all matters military with the full respect and recognition due to that rank. All soldiers, knights, and officers of the Empire are commanded to render him the honour and obedience appropriate to his station.

In solemn return, His Highness has accepted the responsibilities and obligations of his new office, swearing service to the Emperor, to the people of the Empire, and to the eternal glory of Mankind.

A joyous day this is—when the sons of the Empire rise to do their sacred duty. Long may the Empire of Man endure, when all do their duty!
