What circumstances led to this ban?

 

I was roleplaying with someone, and a few of my friends thought it would be funny to sneak around and watch the RP without being seen. It wasn’t planned or coordinated with me they just did it as a sort of joke. I understand how that might’ve made the other player uncomfortable, and I’m really sorry for how it came across. It wasn’t meant to be harassment, and I didn’t intend to make anyone feel weird or targeted.

 

Are there aspects of the ban you agree and/or disagree with?

 

I get why the ban happened and why it looked bad. From the outside, it probably seemed like we were messing with someone. I don’t think I was harassing anyone on purpose, but I get that my actions (or lack of stopping it) contributed to a negative experience. So while I don’t fully agree with the reasoning behind the ban, I do understand the outcome and take responsibility for how things played out.

 

What motivates you to return to LOTC?

 

I just want to get back to playing with my friends and enjoying the RP again. It’s something I’ve put a lot of time into, and I’ve missed being part of it. I’ll be more mindful of how my actions affect others going forward. I’m hoping for another chance to show that I can be respectful and part of the community again.

Just to clarify - from what we can see going back through when this ban was initially done, this wasn't anything to do with watching RP & instead pertained to comments made in the Ferryman Discord after the fact.
