Issued on the 11th of Snow’s Maiden in the year 250 of the Second Age

HARK! Numenedain, Subjects of Numendil,

 

For 41 years, the Dark Aengul Orsathiael has made a conspiracy in its Mountain to impart destruction and enthrallment upon the Descendants. Slowly and carefully, it plotted, and upon Numenedain soil reaped a heavy toll upon the Radiant Host. It was confident that its plans would succeed, it made a prison of the very land we walked upon. And fell. 

 

The chains of the enemy have been broken on all fronts, its influence retreats and we, the Harrenites have won the right to continue to walk our path of redemption in opposition to the enemies of AERADAR.

 

But though we have defeated our enemy upon the accursed mountain, this victory is but a reprieve. A temporary peace that is not to last. For although the chains of Orsathiael may be broken, so too is its prison. As of this moment, the descendants do not have the knowledge nor the means to create another, once more. Meaning that should we stay, we doom ourselves or our future progeny to eternal battle against Orsathiael upon its return.

 

Numendil shall not go the way of those in elder days.

 

In light of this fact, all Numenedain, all subjects of the Kingdom of Idunia are hereby ordered to travel south, to the elven lands of Lhorn Aelwen, where the Numenedain fleet sits at anchor to carry our people away from the lands of Aevos. Where a future free of Orsathiael’s looming tyranny and doom awaits us.

 

It is there, beyond the calm horizons that we will find sanctuary. We will recover, we will grow stronger, and perhaps one day, return with greater knowledge, the weapons and the means to destroy Orsathiael so none may know its malevolent intents, evermore.

Under the supervision of Hir Arthur Marsyr, ships are authorized to be made in Lhorn Aelwen’s docks and harbors. As well as the fleets of all our ocean-going vassals to set anchor should more be required as we undergo the evacuation.

Bron smiled as he finished packing his final boxes, the Yisar skull having been carefully wrapped for travel. His last days on this continent were spent becoming a squire and defending his home, his family. That much he could be proud of. But here he was in his prime, looking towards the future on distant shores. The devil could only hope that the answers he sought in saving his soul lay on new soil.
