THE WITENMOT

 

The Imperial Assembly

His Imperial Majesty, Tiberias I, Emperor of Man, has instructed the Witenmot to assemble in Rittersberg at the Witenmot Chamber of the Rotesbelding on the 17th of Aurelian’s Glory, 628 AA (November 22, 2025 at 5:00 PM EST).

AGENDA

 

As approved by His Imperial Majesty and His Privy Council, the Agenda of the Witenmot is solely set to the following topics:

 

✠ PROCEDURAL: The Chair Assumes Their Seat

• The Speaker or, in the absence of the Speaker, the Oudbard, shall assume the chair of the Witenmot.

 

✠ PROCEDURAL: The Opening Prayer

• The Speaker or, in the absence of the Speaker, the Oudbard, shall lead the assembly in solemn prayer.

 

✠ PROCEDURAL: Attendance Roll Call

• The chair shall record who is in attendance and return this information to the Privy. Only those not in attendance will be allowed to submit absentee votes to the chair after the close of the session.

 

✠ MATTER: Expand the Witenmot to Idunia

 

The Imperial Crown currently has the Lordsman of Númendil representing all of Idunia

 

• Options include:
  • Grant 2 Folkemen to Idunia in the Second Composition
  • Grant 1 Folkman to Idunia in the Second Composition
  • Grant no additional seats to Idunia in the Second Composition

 

✠ MATTER: The Lex Tiberi on Murder

 

The Imperial Crown currently states murder is punishable by any form of public execution, excluding beheading.

 

• Options include:
  • Set the punishment as public drawing and quartering
  • Set the punishment as public beheading
  • Set the punishment as public hanging

 

✠ MATTER: Cobbling of Imperial Roads

 

The Imperial Crown has stated they only have the manpower, funds, and resources to cobble a single road.

 

• Options include:
  • The road from Rittersberg to St. Godwinsberg should be cobbled
  • The road from Rittersberg to Tarnavon should be cobbled
  • The road from Rittersberg to Leonstadt should be cobbled
  • No roads should be cobbled.

 

✠ PROCEDURAL: Call for Extraordinary Topics

• The chair shall call for any member to speak or deliver topics to be sent to the Imperial Privy for formalization into the next agenda, if deemed within the Witenmot's competencies.

 

 

✠ PROCEDURAL: The Closing Prayer

• The Speaker or, in the absence of the Speaker, the Oudbard, shall lead the assembly in solemn prayer to close the session.
