We need CT admin Smol for community admin

Okay, let us not beat around the bush — we need a community admin.
@Smol is doing the duties of a CT admin without the title. They are hands down the most level-headed person for the position.

Not only have they persisted in working within a community that is dysfunctional and frustrating because there is so much work to do and no one to delegate roles to, but there are also people waiting to join the CT team who can’t because there is a lacklustre amount of effort put into filling this role. It is the community - a person for the community (this should be important), someone to voice things when other voices of the players go unheard. Somewhere to stop this ONSLAUGHT of miscommunication that is rotting away the spirit.

As a player, I feel frustrated watching this. The players do not feel heard by this current community. Smol is not just for the people — it is for the staff team too. They are for everyone. Smol is not my personal friend (No offence Smol), but they have worked the most diligently, and I have heard nothing but amazing glowing reviews from the people of LOTC. In every community - and every woe or worry I have ever had. Has been handled within the day. And it has been handled well. This is what a community manager should be. A person with a kind heart.

Smol is among a group of people (including Smowy and TeraJess) who have been very helpful for me in starting out.

 

I had a major surgery at the end of last month and have had not a lot to do. It is thanks to them that LoTC has become something I think I'll be doing far into the future as a fun hobby and thanks to them that I've already sunk nearly 130 hours into Relad Orison within 29 days.

 

The community does have some issues. CRP is a bit tilted to encourage powergaming and arguements. But I have seen everything the community calls an issue done right and when it is done right it is a great thing to be part of. A big reason for those things being done right, in my own experiences, was due to those three people.

 

 

I do not know how badly a Community Admin is needed, as a majority of the issues I see are player-to-player, not staff or admin communication problems. Even then, they are rare and usually very easily avoidable with proper accountability. Maybe that is just because I rarely involve myself in things that would require ST, Staff, etc intervention or oversight. Who knows?

 

Either way, Smol has my vote. 

 

Also @TaraJess- bit of an odd place to put it, but sincerely I need to thank you and draw attention to how much of a great influence on the community you've been, too. I'd not have fallen so in love with LoTC without your influence and being so welcoming as you had been, and continue to be. You're a real one and you gotta get your thoughts on this topic in here.

Ascend the Mother Bean to the Admin Bean

she is worthy of this title and has been putting the work in for timeee. As a CT member she is always caring about us and always personally checking in on us to check our wellbeing and making sure we as humans irl are well and sane. She’s always looking of ways to implement a cozy and welcoming environment to the server and the staff not only is she my manager but she’s a friend and I think she would be perfect as admin and let’s all be honest it’s well overdue. The mother bean would thrive as admin and would bring so much to the table. The admin team would be honoured to have such a caring and work oholic on their team. ALL HAIL THE MOTHER BEAN

In my very small amount of time on this server, Smol has been a foundational part of my experience here on LOTC. Reliable, diligent, and thorough. If there's anyone on this server who I know has the player's best interests at heart, it is her.

 

I understand the many reasons for delays in important decisions like this one, but it is clear from player sentiment, server sentiment, and overall community sentiment, that there is no one better suited to the task than her.

 

I know out of all who reply, my words hold the least amount of weight considering I just got here- but I hope that the server makes the right decision in giving the title to someone who already puts in the work instead of making the mistake of not recognizing what is right in front of them.

I dont know Smol on a personal level, I dont know anyone who is friends with Smol and Smol probably doesnt even recognize my username as someone who has had the pleasure of interacting with her.

She is hands down the best choice one could point out from among the CT team to be Admin.
