PrimnyaQuorum 4003 Share Posted December 4, 2025 ITALICIZED or BOLDED Text are changed, STRIKETHROUGH Text is removed. Pasted Text has been shortened from the page’s full mechanics + redlines to emphasis altered text’s location and scale. Shackle Spoiler - Every attempt to bind an Inferi costs at least [5] maleus. - This spell does nothing to non-Inferi. A Naztherak may only shackle Inferi that they are able to directly create through Naz’kuthun; I.E a T1 Naz cannot Shackle a Zar’ei or Zekul. A Zevn'Kiel that evolves into a Zar'ei remains bound to the Naztherak, and instead takes up a Zar'ei Slot. - A Naztherak may bind another Naztherak’s inferi in order to steal them into their own court. This may only be utilized upon CA Inferi that are wholly willing or totally restrained. - One may rip the page of their own demon to release them. thus starting a [2] OOC week timer wherein the demon must get bound again or be PKed. The player must be informed of this timer starting. An Inferi is instantly aware if this has been done, and must be promptly notified. - Abuse of the above redline, such as to continually keep someone on this timer and then rebind at the last second will lead to strict and harsh ST punishments, such as a blacklist. Alternatively, a Warlock of particularly shrewd bargaining may be able to convince Inferi to be willingly bound. Typically this is only temporary such that the demon and Prince may cooperate toward a common goal, or to wreak havoc in a mutually beneficial fashion. It is only later that each may discover how true to their word the other is. Redlines: - A Naztherak and a CA Inferis may agree to a pact whereby the Inferis is bound in the Grimoire as if shackled. This may be as steeply priced as the Inferis desires, as long as the agreement is based in RP. - Pacts may not be based on OOC conditions or situations, nor can they stipulate Metagaming/Powergaming or other rule/lore violations. For a pact to be made, a Naztherak must have space in their court for the Inferi, should they accept. With OOC Consent from both parties, a pact may be broken. - One may also negotiate with Inferi to cease hostilities or otherwise make bargains of a sort in ST events. In which case, the overseeing ST has the discretion to name a price, determine what the Prince receives in exchange etc. They may alternatively reject the chance to bargain. - The duration of the pact is not required to be permanent; in such cases when the defined time passes, the Zar’ei is unbounded automatically. Pacts may have as many terms and conditions as long as both parties agree & all terms are based in RP. Purpose: First and foremost, removal of outdated PK Mechanics [Unbound Inferi can exist without a time-based PK Clause]. Clarification to negotiated Pacts as an option, & clarified that a Zar’ei will know if it has been unbound instead of having to guess/metagame. Disconnection Ritual Spoiler Redlines: - This ritual is unique and a Naztherak does not have to know this to submit a TA. - A Disconnected Naztherak’s [CA] Inferi are immediately considered unbound and are aware of such at the conclusion of the disconnection ritual, and should be notified. Purpose: As with the other amendment, preventing situations where a Zarei is unbound but is not made aware of such. Malflame Spoiler - Malflame burns will appear as blackened patches on one’s skin and will gently glow the color of the malflame which inflicted the burn. - Malflame burns will have random flares of pain for up to [3] OOC days after the attack, this may be roleplayed by the victim as they see fit. Pain may be mental anguish as well. - Malflame Burns will fade after [3] OOC Days if caused in a hostile manner. A player may always choose OOCly to retain Malflame Burns indefinitely, though all Malflame Burns can be cleansed at any time. Purpose: At the current moment, Malflame burns are a bit troll and a grey-area of curable/not curable though somewhat excessive means. Mystic and Necromancy induced wounds do not have to deal with the problems Malflame Burns do and so the following is being proposed. Tldr; combat malflame and being unwittingly burned goes away. Burns incurred via being a willing dealer to an infernal do not.
