PREAMBLE
 

A girl's eighteenth year marks a time for her to step forth from the protective shadow of her family and into the bright and scrutinizing eyes of those around her. A passage from the sheltered days of childhood into the delicate responsibilities and delights of womanhood.

 

On this eve, the halls of Palais Madelaine shall glow brighter than ever, for it is the night of the Lady Delphine Amalia Carnelle’s eighth and tenth summer, a celebration of her passage into womanhood. House Carnelle requests the honor of your presence as she is presented to Her Highness Princess Mattea Asadha, and to partake in an evening of music, dancing and celebration as Lady Delphine takes her first steps into Pétrine Society.

ITINERARY
 

Welcoming of Guests
As the evening begins, Guests are announced at the entrance to the ballroom and welcomed with warm hospitality. While we all wait for the main event of the evening, all are encouraged to speak among themselves while refreshments and light entertainment are provided courtesy of Lady Mairi Barrach

The Debut
The Lady Delphine Amalia Carnelle is formally presented to Her Highness Princess Mattea Asadha and welcomed into the Pétrine Society.

The Waltz

Following the Presentation, the Ballroom opens to a dance, where music is provided by the renowned musical group LANDSKAR. All are encouraged to dance, but pay attention, for all will be looking for the Commonwealth’s most talented dancer.
