[!] Thereupon the seas of Azuras had a great battle raged…

────────────────────────────────────

The Shifting of Winds, The Groans of Wood beating against the Ocean Tides, The Rustling of Sails…

Such was the life of this boy throughout his entire existence, in the sea and the surrounding docks of the world. Though this voyage marked a change in his life, for it was his last, the final journey towards Azuras. The Lamentation of the Seas would be known; the storms and riptides colliding against his ship would cause terror in the youth, the raven-haired lad clutching tightly upon the ropes for his dear life. A cascading torrent of rains beating down from the heavens, spiking against his visage in sharp stings, and yet he could not close his eyes… for at the front of the vessel he stood upon, did a large explosion of the waves occur- and within that explosion did a large beast wrought of crimson soar into the heavens for but a moment, wailing akin to the sirens of legend.

A Great Beast Had Made Itself Known, A Herald for those wretched of the Tides…

The mists of the typhoon would cloud the eyes of the sailors upon that ship, and yet still could they see those that approached: Peoples of the Sea, chuckling in a macabre manner, bearing strange weaponry of bronze, blowing horns of war. The Sailors of the Vessel would see these marauders, shivers climbing down their spines, until their very captain would rise from his cabin, blade in hand. Out loud would the captain call about, the raven-haired boy looking unto the man as he does so, “Today, boys, you fight! Fight until nothing else matters!” The Sailors, upon hearing the words of their great leader, would steel their resolve, a newfound grit that would accompany the- ziiippp -of a blade being released from its shackles of a scabbard. There, the hooks of the Corsairs launched upwards onto the deck of the ship, and soon did these peoples clad in bronze and gruesome masks climb aboard, axes and bows within their grasp. In return, did these sailors march in speed against those that clamored upon the ship as the raging typhoon beat upon the wooden grounds that lay beneath, the clashing of metals, gruesome suctions that accompanied stabs, and the swishing sounds of arrows and bolts launched upon each other.

A Battle for their lives had begun, and still that boy remained in awe of the carnage in front of him…

The Screams of life smothered from this plane would be an opera of this orchestra of death, the rattling of lamellar as the fearsome sea-wolves make another simple sailor their victim. Fires spilling upon the deck, and there did one battered pirate make its way towards the raven-haired boy, the bronze blade within their grasp gleaming as the fires of the ship danced upon its form, their mask holding a horrific visage, and there that youth fell to their rear in fear backing away as fast as they could though such a crawl would not be suitable. The Raider raised their bronze blade to rid the stain of this boy upon the world… until a sudden crash would rip the ship in twain, sending all aboard flying into the deep hells of the sea, unable to escape…

The Sun would then rise upon the tides, and from those tides did that raven-haired youth get spit out.

The boy lay flat upon the sands, his clothing drenched in the salt-ridden water, his face beaten into the ground. A turn of his form, and there did he see the sun, and forth did the youth smile akin to such a being…

The Sun’s Smile.
