Suns greetings; 
It has been two lunar cycles since I have arrived on this new continent. It is absolutely wretched. Not a single desert have I found in traveling this mundane green. The sun still kisses my cheek but it is not with the same heat, the same passion as the desert sun of Aveos. 
Already the people are at war. Already are the foul bloods scarring this new land.
However my greatest grievance remains the same. Not a single dune in sight. My beloved camels could not cross the ocean with me and I miss them dearly. 

Alas where the coin flows, I must follow.
