Investigation into Cursed Children and Moricuesir

As of recent, we have been visited by elven figures that we have come to know as Moricuesir (henceforth known as Mori). We must not treat them immediately with hostilities, but we must study, learn, and have patience before we cast our judgement upon them. For the sins of their forefathers may weigh heavy upon our ancestor’s minds, we must learn if they have changed.

In the same light, we have also decided to open the investigation into the devilspawn - or cursed children. There are these horned figures who already walk amongst us and have devoutly served their kingdoms and principalities, but there are others who are afraid to dare step within our holy lands.

By the discretion of His Holiness, as outlined in the PRIMA AUREA BULLA BURGUNDIA and granted to me in my private discussions with him - I wish to begin the intermediary period immediately by inviting both Mori and Cursed Children alike to discuss their history, cultures, and deeds of your people.

Please write to me or find me within the Monastery of the Wayward Heart. If I am unavailable, please send word and I will arrive posthaste.

Signed,

Father Maurus Üvegkészítő

Szorruil Xalyth, Tribune of the Enclave, faithful to Nemiisae and Zanunder, one of the leading figureheads of the Xalythi and Mori'Quessir faith, sets out to find these individuals, to speak on behalf of its people, its faith, and its culture.

Godspeed, Father Maurus. I shall join you when I can in these endeavors, but when I cannot, the resources of the Church shall be at your disposal.

His Holiness, Caius II

In uneven script of an unpracticed hand – someone still learning to speak and read Common – a letter found its way to Father Maurus. The grammar was wrong and the letters malformed, but the idea was there.

"I am Dra'sa, Priestess of Our Grandmother Spider. My father Xundus is the rebuilder of our faith in your lands above. We will speak to you, and we will both learn of eachothers' faith. Is this agreeable?

— დრა'სა, ფრიესთესს ოფ ნემისსაე"

Dear Father Maurus;
You know where to find me. I will be in Aldunn or you can summon me to Tir'glas for discussion.
Sincerely,
Bron Callaghan

A letter was penned back much the same. The smell of ink was practically still fresh upon the parchment and the seal of monastery accompanied such.

“Let us meet when it is convenient for both you and your father. I stand ready whenever you wish to commence.”

"Even though I hate the mori, you better take advantage of this one," Juniper said, handing the paper to her devil-borne daughter. "I don't want any more people on your ass." @mothsthetic

"And do what?" Asked a red devil, her feathered brow furrowed in frustration as she looked it over. "Tell them of the racism? The oppression? How I was labeled a Warlock Accomplice, despite the fact I think they should all burn in their own dark fire? They will not listen to me, Mom. I look exactly how they fear."

A finely penned letter would be sent towards the Empire, a rare path for her bird.

"Father Marius,

I believe we met briefly in Caurost before. I am well acquainted with the blight known as cursed things, but Devil is preferable for their corrupt nature. They are heinous creations that afford the Ibleesians an easier opportunity to move around our lands. They must be treated with nothing but the hangmans noose.

Something innate in their nature draws them to stray towards darkness. For in all my many years amongst the lands, I have yet to find one worthy of redemption. The only variable is when they return back to their homes, and the Flame. They are the descendants of Sin, or worse, when it is but a soul burned. Should you wish to discuss this matter more in detail, or the notes of a century on hunting warlocks; I will make myself available.

Sylvara af Ingeson."
