The wind was different tonight. Harder, sharper. It rattled the Clustered branches and carried something with it—something I could almost hear if I leaned close enough. Not voices like men speak. Something else. Older. Watching. Waiting.

I walked through the trees and felt it. The air pressed closer, the shadows moved where they shouldn’t. Stones hummed faintly underfoot, or maybe that was in my head. I’ve Overseen these paths before. I know the difference.

Some things have to be done. One step leads to another. Always has. I don’t understand why, not fully. But the pattern is there, like a pulse beneath the world. Even in silence, it Drifts through the corners.

Tonight I saw the first tremors. Small at first, nothing anyone else would notice. But they were real. The air shivered, and the Earth beneath my feet seemed to sigh. It doesn’t announce itself. It tests. I felt it watching, patient, and I felt the weight of it pressing at the edges of thought.

I write this not to teach, not to guide, but to remember. Something has begun. Or maybe it never stopped. The Veil has thinned, just enough. Threads I thought lost have tightened, trembling.

I don’t know how far it will go. I don’t know who else can hear it. Only that the night waits. The wind waits. The Evening stretches longer than it should.

Something moves quietly where none look, a sound too soft to catch, but I can feel it there.

The air hangs heavy, thick with expectation. I have waited, and I have listened. The Light fades faster tonight than it did yesterday.
