lye’Malian lliran’ehya cauróh,

On this day, 13th of the Deep Cold, 275 S.A., the peace of Caras Siol witnessed upset at the hand of a slathering, Infernal wretch whose identity eludes.

This creature, blood-red in color and brutish in size, sought to rend a most grievous attack upon Prince Turin Ilumrin (@Tav). Although most of the city’s warriors tarried on endeavors beyond city walls at the time of the attack, it was one Maeth Galdissiel (@Maeth) who sallied first to his defense, and stood most readily in direct challenge of the demon. Between it and Prince Turin did she brandish her steel and labor with such self-sacrifice, even at risk of losing limbs, if not her very life.

One such woman, young in her years, newcomer of elcihi, and fledgling warrior, stood for the tenets of elMyumier’tir and harnessed most virtuously the esteemed Gryphon’s Erudite, alongside reinforcements that would later arrive such as lauriran Leithril, Vir, Lorinthia, and Deulara.

It is for this that the Ivory Crown wishes to recognize the noble deeds of Maeth Galdissiel through honorable ceremony, to be hosted in the throneroom of Caras Siol. Denizens are invited to observe and put forth their gratitude, for without her, it is uncertain the fate Prince Turin would have met.

Signed,

"That's our initiate!!!" yelled Leithril, before she tacked a copy of the missive to all 47 doors in the Sunlit Sanctum.

"I was there! I' was truly qui'e terrifyin'!" A young 'aheral in black commented, who had retreated into the safety of her home the moment she was told a demon entered the city.

Túrin remained unscathed, thanks to the bravery of Maeth; if anything, a few droplets of blood landed on his pale skin and blonde mane, but that was an easy fix. It certainly wasn’t something that required medical attention. He spent his time, however much it was, preparing a gift for the kind woman; even if it was her job, it’d feel wrong to leave the soldier with no token of appreciation.

Aelyn Greye was wandering around Caras Siol when he recognized a familiar name listed on a nearby missive, someone he'd talked with a singular time. She was nice to the 'ker during their brief interaction, but didn't seem like the fighting type. Much to his shock, he stared at the missive for a few more seconds before he said

"What?"
