IT IS WITH GREAT SORROW That the House of Reinhold announces upon this day the passing of its Margravine and Matriarch, Lady Amelia Rhoswen Reinhold. For many years, the Margravine had fought with a slow-progressing illness which was held at bay by her personal physicians, and by her own admirable willpower. Lady Amelia continued to lead the house with sharp wit and diligence for many years while concealing her ill state from the public, and only in recent years was confined to the walls of Dùn Mòindamh as her condition declined. Her passing occurred on 15th of Sun’s Smile, as she sat at the piano which was beloved to her in life.

 

Assuming power shortly after the people of the Commonwealth arrived on Azura, Margravine Amelia’s reign was defined by her creativity, intelligence, and energy. She revitalized a family weary from the tragedies of Aevos, and made their name one well-known in the new capital of Riviènse. In a vital time of transition where many houses fail to adapt, Lady Amelia’s sharp mind pushed her family to even greater heights than those she had inherited. It is undoubtable that she left her household a greater place than when she found it, and for that, she shall be always honored

A ceremony shall be held to celebrate the late Margravine’s life and works at the keep of Dùn Mòindamh. All who knew her in life, or simply wish to honor her memory alongside the family, are welcome to attend.

Though Lady Amelia did not sign a formal writ of inheritance before her passing, her decision has long been known within the family, and is re-affirmed by her widow, Margravine-Consort Iris Reinhold, as well as her two other children. 

 

As the eldest daughter of the house, Lady Alma Therese has long exemplified all that her name stands for; Scientific curiosity, a love for the natural world, and a strong sense of justice. Her mind is as sharp as her mother’s, and her heart has made her well-known throughout the Commonwealth. Highly educated and well-trained, her skills both as an archer and a scholar have made her a paragon of her house, and she holds its traditions dearly. It is with utmost confidence and pride that she is henceforth named the sole Baroness of Raònoir, Viscountess of Stormont, Countess of Anairgrid, and Margravine of Abhmòine, Fifth Matriarch of the House of Reinhold.
