On the Defense of Salvo

An Address intended to the Salvian Ranger Corps, The Frontier Army, and all denizens of the former horde lands who’ve not yet made away.

 

By orders of the office of the Governor-Marshall, the provinces of Anatis and Southspire are to be put to flame. All settlements within and around these two provinces are to be stripped of all armaments, stores of food, smith-worthy metals, and any other resources deemed essential. All supplies are to be brought to the capital, then stored in the fortress of the spire. 

 

• After the cities of Anatis, Southspire, Inpanema, the silver refuge, the Brawmian holding, The Veilward, and all other settlements and villages deemed indefensible have been stripped of all things valuable, they are to be put to flame.
• The Gatehouse of Trau is to be dismantled and made to collapse atop the road of the mountain pass to hinder movement.
• The Ports of Anatis and Southspire are to be put to flame, all vessels deemed of use are to be sailed and docked along the southern shore.
• All bridges within the two provinces, and leading to the capital, are to be burnt, broken, or otherwise made inoperable
• All Artillery pieces are to be taken to the capital for use in the defense, all artillery unable to be drawn in carriage are to be sullied as to deny its use.
• All fields and farms throughout the lands of the horde are to be harvested and burnt if time does not permit a harvest. Cattle are to be herded and driven towards the capital where they will be culled, and made to meat.
• All able-bodied willing citizens that yet remain within these two provinces are hereby mustered to rally at the capital to lend their aid in the defense.

 

These Orders are to be carried out immediately posthaste, for the sake of the republic and her defense. The further specifications of the capital’s defense will not be writ in public missive.
