He broke an oath to not fight in the final battle that he swore to the Samurai during the war.

So, when you say that settlements are not meant to give nations that lost their land in war a way to abuse the settlement system and instead to join other nations, I'm a bit confused.

Let's include the current situation of the dwarves.
A core race has lost its nation, and is on a KOS by all the nations left on the server. Since they lost their nation during the war, the dwarves applying for a settlement as to avoid the KOS, would be considered them abusing the settlement system?
"Groups being hunted should engage in roleplay diplomacy to resolve issues, even if the outcome is initially unfavourable on their end. Sometimes that is just how the cookie crumbles-- nothing lives forever, and sometimes concepts must die in order for newer and greater ones to live."
So, with the current status quo of the dwarves being literally on a KOS list, we should, just keep being killed, since, that is jst how the cookie crumbles as per your words.

I understand that systems should not be abused by those who went to war and lost their nation, but in this situation particularly, the dwarves have zero options, and cannot solve this by "engaging in roleplay diplomacy".
To be clear to what I'm trying to ask, should the dwarves leave the server and eventually the dwarven race to become a CA playable race?

It simply seems too short-sighted and pretty focused on forcing something unachievable as per the current status of roleplay, consequences of war should be a real thing, forcing an entire playerbase of a core race to cease playing the deserve because you've ruled in such favor shows the true reasoning behind your ruling, atleast, as long as you are in the team, again, as per your own words.

Thank you!

To say what's being said quietly, what he and the others actually mean when they say the "Consequences of War" is, you are no longer allowed to play an Urguani dwarf. The only dwarves, aside from Sigrun and Obok, that have obtained residency in the Empire through diplomacy are dwarves that have either sworn off Urguan entirely and apologized for their actions/disavowed Ulfar, new dwarf personas with no affiliation or loyalty to Urguan, or dwarf players who have stopped playing dwarves to make a human or elf persona.

Their point is that you either abandon Urguan entirely to let "something new rise up" as Morigung said, or you go to CT, purchase an architect, and go live in a corner of the map isolated from RP and try to wait the empire out. You aren't allowed to Lair your way back into the fifth Grand Kingdom. You aren't allowed to settlement your way back into the fifth Grand Kingdom, and unless you can get 40 dwarves all in one nation, you aren't allowed to vassalize your way back into a fifth Grand Kingdom. You will, at best, be an independent dwarf who will see a dwarven nation that is not the Grand Kingdom rise up, or, at worst, be an Empire of Man pet, smithing for them, possibly even made to abandon your culture due to the paganism.

I tried to tell you guys this back when Runeheart was denied, it isn't going to work. You are being directly told by both administration and implimentation team, to either adapt, or perish; do something new even if you don't want to do it, or leave the server. Those are your options.

Not to say the KOS on dwarves, applies to orcs despite them being pardoned. Love it when im playing my orc character and I get jumped by Kurai-Kuni opreatives hitting me with boomsteel weapons from their vast treasury of boomsteel, just because i was an orc and near horde land, even though rply we were given a year irp to evacuate, but hey, KOS is only on dwarves, and def not a thing in Kurai-Kuni. MY character's fate was decided by the Vice Admiral of Kurai-Kuni's roll.

Not to spam the thread, but you still haven't refuted the lack-of-KOS claim. Kurai is likely to be giving Obok Metaldrinks a vassal territory and permit dwarf refugees who aren't being a-holes rply. Also, don't misrepresent the above RP. You were mistaken for a Salvo soldier and were advocated for being spared rather than turned into Argentum. Sorry that our noobs and vast endless boomsteel stores obliterated you man!
