trinn 5146 Share Posted March 29 Joan considered, for the fifth time this week, the worth of keeping her son Martin as the Pontiff's ward. Some portion of her thought the church the safest, most quiet place he could find in this Empire of theirs. The missive, however, overturns that assumption. Or perhaps that's your bitterness for Valentin' actions speaking, She considered inversely. Either way, she sends her next-door neighbour, His Holiness Caius, an apple pie for breakfast. A good crusade starts with a good breakfast.
JudgeTrudy 610 Share Posted March 29 An Idunian squire glances to the darkened mace at his side as news of the coming Crusade reaches him from a town crier. These havens of evil, the Black Church and Black Sepulchre, finally to be felled. An image flashes to Lukas' mind, of an eerie black fortress surrounded by choking ash. He pats a hand at his side, to the ferrum mace, as he looks from the town square in Riviense down toward the Temple of St. Juliel. Under his breath, Lukas mutters only a few words. "Zhe High Priest vill have every drop of mein own blood, sweat, und tears to face zhese foes. May Gott bless all of us in zhis righteous cause..." Meanwhile, on the other end of the continent, a young Elf woman hears the gossip of this war as she toils to a local garden. Mya'sae smiles at the news, which felt strange in the aftermath. 'So many innocents will surely die...but still, it is nice to see the Church of Man take charge against the Fallen One's minions. I may not join the battles, but I hope to bring the warriors aid where I may - whether Cauróst joins or not.' Spoiler SO excited for this Nectorist. I bless you for trying out a CRP war over a PvP one. WAHOOOO
Mordringfan 171 Share Posted March 29 The Frost Dwarf had expected something like this to occur, but it was nonetheless an annoying hindrance. They tear up the decree that they had found before continuing through the roads of the Empire.
Hiccup392 742 Share Posted March 29 "So finally, Unity perseveres in the face of Shadow," claimed a fervent supporter of Lords both fallen and rising. The announcement found itself tacked within gilded halls, with a Lorraine placed atop a busy war-table. It was not her religion to preach or banner to fly, yet it was her duty all the same.

PolarLoLs 993 Share Posted March 29 The missive gleaned by the crowned summit, the gracious Eye blessed whatever it may see And so it may watch this grand war for it is his own and children's will “By no will but their own, they remain insistent upon their march to our lands; Cleave through one inferis and another will rise in its place, War is eternal but neigh is your flesh, mirror the Horde’s that once marched these lands from times of yore and only then will the fruits of your labour be bore” “It is under his scornful watch we shall strike back, toll the bells of our gates and like the red bolts of light seen once we will punish the broods of descendant kind, over and over and over again. “Hail IBLEES“ “Hail IXRIS” Did a rotting thing bellow from the deepest crypts of that malice begotten church, The Lorraine signed inverse.
Masouri 2735 Share Posted March 29 ISSUED BY BY BONES AND BARROW, House Ruthern pledges its sword, its blood, and its name to His Holiness and the Crusade set before us. Through the annals of history, the blood of Ruthern has always heeded the call of the Mother Church to battle. Once more, our banners will march. All bannermen of House Ruthern are to report for duty - armed, sober, and presentable. We have a reputation to uphold and filth to purge from this earth. I should not need to explain which task takes priority. If God wills it. So does Ruthern. Justinyn var Ruthern
