-Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes I do have quite a good grip on the english language.

-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: Im a teacher, I teach music, and am a very "chill" kind of guy. I'm not a huge gamer, but minecraft is something that caught my eye quickly and has not let me go.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Possibly 5-10 hours depending on life.

-How long have you played minecraft?: About 3 months now.

-What do you know about roleplaying?: I know that when I was a kid I started playing D&D a ton with a very unlikely group of people. We loved it, and while Its been years since I rolled die, I remember it fondly and the creative release from it was wonderful. Personally I consider myself very good at it as I'm a creative person at heart.

-What do you expect this server will be like?: So far I expect it to be heavily moderated, and the roleplay to be second to none. Everything from screenshots to videos looks better than anything else I've ever seen attempted in this game.

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I've played on local servers mainly. I have played on some random servers but none of them are still around. Any "RP" servers i tried were barely able to be considered as such.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have.

-How did you hear about us?: Through the Minecraftforum site. Spent a long time searching for a serious RP server and LOTC stood out.

-Character Name: Julian Swiftquill.

-What is your Race?: Elf

-Biography: Julian Swiftquill is a quiet elf who has spent most of his life traveling and recording things. His deep passion, as his name implies, is the written word. Nearly all his life he has lived in the background of his people, never making much fuss or being of any consequence. One day on his way home he met a small human family travelling the opposite direction. After an exchange of pleasantries the human daughter asked him how old he was (it was apparent the little one was curious how long elves lived!) and he had no answer. The shock of that disturbed him for quite a while. He had spent so much time recording the lives of others that he had forgotten to live his own.

Now after all this time Swiftquill has decided to have his own life and write his own story. Of course, doing so by opening his own business selling books of all kinds mostly written by himself. While not the boldest of adventures, he has heard and seen a great many tales and he believes the time has come to make sure others hear them too.

-Character Age: Unknown. Of older/middle age for an elf!

-Character Appearance: Julian is, like many others of his kind, tall and thin with a very calm demeanor. He walks with a slow stride and seems to watch life as it happens around him with a great attention to detail. Surrounding him is an obvious aura of peace and his face is nearly always with a slight smile. The lines around his eyes and lips show a lifetime of smiling and laughing and his skin is exceptionally dark and leathery for all the years spent travelling the world and in the sun. His hair is long and white, eyes are an icy blue, and he wears long comfortable cream robes. From the fraying and dirt near his feet you can see he has traveled quite a bit and he seems to always have a book and quill at the ready.

-Character Personality: Swiftquill is as patient as stone. He rarely shows any emotion other than a slight smile with his eyes and a serene focus to those around him. Nearly any time hes ever been asked he has helped anyone who asked (within reason) and is always interested in the going-ons of the world.

-Your ambitions: Secretly Julian desires to own his own shop on a busy market street selling every book you could ever imagine or need. However realistically, for now, he is content with finding a way to start selling his own collection.

-Can your character read or write?: Very much so. Its almost his life's work.

-Can your character mine?: If asked to, but has spent a long time not physically active aside from miles upon miles of walking.

-Are you a capable builder?: Out of Character I am very capable, in character his knowledge is limited to theory (learning from books and others) but hasn't had much chance to build on his own.

-Can you wield a sword?: Yes, although he prefers not to, Julian is very knowledgeable on defensive techniques.

-Enjoy Farming?: Absolutely. Julian spent a great many years farming Canes to make paper to continue writing.

-Does your character have any special skills?: Aside from writing, Julian has a great ability to speak to others, is very patient (making for great liaison skills), and most of all is a great listener.

-Other Information: Honestly I've looked over the rules, have posted my application here and on the Minecraftforum.net post, and hope I didnt miss any steps. The skin pack link didnt seem to work so I made an elf skin using various sources and hope its ok. Ill gladly change if it need be! I sincerely hope my effort is worth the chance at experiencing your server!
