This is not to be remembered IC, but more of an OOC window to view my character from. Days and dates can be a little off, sorry!)) 12, Malins Welcome It has been two weeks since I departed from the sanctuary in search for these accursed translations. I decided not to tell Timayame, however, that I would also seek out some priest of Iblees to teach me of His ways. Two weeks, two weeks since I have been around Shoi. I know she's Timayame's betrothed, but there was always an enticing scent about her. There is something about her, something different than any other woman I've been with, that gives me pause. She...emits such an aura of light, my compulsions seem to die away when I'm around her. But I'm alone now, and they are back. And I can just see the nape of her neck pressed against the cold steel of my dagger. Regardless, on to matters at hand. I have reached a lead on the tome I carry. I encountered a couple elves who informed me that it was written in a variety of olden languages. Before I could get more information, I was forced to flee due to some commotion arising in town. At least now I have some sort of idea of what I'm dealing with. What sort of spells lay beneath this bound cover? It is my mission to find out. Perhaps something more potent and easier than my moonlight sacrifices, which do next to nothing. Perhaps I don't have spellcasting in me. I refuse to believe this though. Still, I have to prepare for the worst news. But for now I am hopeful that my questions will be answered, and look to the future with a fierce determination to make such a difference.
