-Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a precocious middle schooler who is considered extremely nerdy by my peers. As I play D&D, Minecraft, and Magic: the Gathering, they are most likely correct.

-How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Maybe, I don't know, 5-6 hours? Maybe less if my weekends are taken.

-How long have you played minecraft?: On and off since Beta 1.2_02.

-What do you know about roleplaying? How long have you been doing it? What kind?: I've been playing 4th-Edition Dungeons and Dragons since it was released in 2008, and have been an avid RP-er on other forums.

-What do you expect this server will be like?: A pleasant combination of my typical D&D, albeit with more role-playing and less combat, and the building aspect of Minecraft. Fun!

-What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I just got back into Minecraft, and my previous experience was all singleplayer. But I'm pretty sure I can find my way around multiplayer servers, I've watched some videos.

-Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules? What about the lore?: Yes, yes, yes, and I find the lore fascinating.

-Name the 4 races on this server. The standard four of Fantasy: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs.

-How did you hear about us?: I was trawling the Survival Servers page here and clicked on this thread, as it looked interesting.

-Did you vote?: Yes, and it is well deserved in my opinion.

-Character Name: Dorvek Thunderbeard

-What is your Race?: Cave Dwarf

-Biography: Born in Kal'Urguan, and raised mainly underground, Dorvek was ignorant of the surface world until he mixed a few dusts together (Sand and sulphur and redstone, if you must know) and caused a cave-in that killed many members of his family. The survivors decided it would be better if Dorvek was away from them for a while, so, at a young age, he was apprenticed to an aging human master alchemist. He took to the craft well, if not to his teacher. It was here that the dwarf's disrespect for humans was born, for the alchemist was intolerant of any mistake and often used Dorvek as a test subject for his more experimental potions. This apprenticeship lasted for about fifty-three years, the alchemist extending his lifespan through several morally-questionable rituals and would have continued if not for a particular extremely scathing tongue-and-Potion of Weakness-lashing administered to Dorvek one day. That same night, he put all of his brewing and enchanting experience to use and slew the master in his sleep. Unfortunately for the dwarf, the alchemist had trapped the bed and the death of the alchemist set off an explosion that destroyed all in the tower but a few old books of potion recipes and a small handbook on enchanting. Taking those, Dorvek set off to return to Kal'Urguan, the city of his birth.

-Character Age: 142

-Character Appearance: Dark bearded with flecks of yellow, like all other Thunderbeards before him, Dorvek is tall (by dwarf standards) and stocky, built like not just a brick, but an iron ingot.

-Character Personality: Very aggressive, Dorvek is short-tempered with members of his own race, and runs the gamut from disliking to being openly hostile toward members of the other three. He takes pride in merely one thing: his skill with alchemy and enchanting. If any choose to challenge him or dare to suggest they are better than him in the field he considers himself the best at, he will take very much offense.

-Your ambitions: To find a proper brewing stand and enchanter's table, and set up a stronghold to perform alchemical experiments in peace.

-Can your character read or write?: Yes to both. The study of potions and magical dweomers requires the ability to both read old scrolls and scribe your own, so that knowledge may be shared.

-Can your character mine?: Yes, as he's had to mine for precious metals and besides- what dwarf can't?

-Are you a capable builder? Fairly so, for I've worked on a few projects. For instance, there was the time me master want'd a new room f'r brewing, there was the accident with his observatory...

-Can you wield a sword?: Yes, but not well. I prefer a well-crafted pick, for me master oft had me slogging away for his infernal reagents.

-Enjoy Farming?: No! Farming's for humans, not dwarves! We're of stone, not dirt!

-Does your character have any special skills?: He's an alchemist and enchanter by trade, formerly apprenticed to one of the masters of the craft.
