Maybe the sword would be put on the ground like RL sometimes? We could use the drunk plugin for that effect.

No, no, no. :3 You really think people would want their weapons thrown away , people could easily steal them, and run off. That's even worse than it going to the inventory, just have it move to a slot without a weapon in it makes more sense.
