Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes, I believe I have a good grip on the English language and grammar. But I will make an occasional slip up.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a 15 year old teenager who enjoys playing video games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I enjoy acting and filming and might pursue a career in one of them. I am an outgoing, creative, and enjoyable person.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Most of the time, but I'll be more active on weekends, as I'm not as tied down with schoolwork.

What do you know about Roleplaying? What is it?: Roleplaying is the act of creating a character and then interacting with the world around him/her as your character would, not yourself. In roleplay you imagine, think, dream, and even speak as your character would in real life. In most roleplay there are two chats, IC which means In-character and OOC which means Out-of-character. IC is a chat used strictly for roleplay. While as OOC is a chat for simply talking as yourself (not your character). OOC is sometimes used to plot out RP event or happenings.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is the act of using OOC information to benefit your character. Such as if two people were talking about a Undead base location in OOC chat, your character can't just walk there unknowingly. Powergaming is when you force an action upon another character to have a situation go your way. Such as /me stabs so-and-so in the heart watching his/her dead body fall to the ground. Whereas /me unsheathes dagger looking at so-and-so menacingly is fine.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I believe this server will give me the roleplay experience I have been looking for. I expect this server to be fun, exiting, and interesting more and more, quest by quest.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I originally played on Runic Paradise, a survival server. After about a couple months of no activity the server was shut down. At this point I began to take interest in roleplay servers. Which made me join Lodainn, a fun RP server at the time. But after a while the head evil person turned good and RP shortly dwindled down to none. On top of that the lead admin is on leave for a while, making the server even less exiting.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes, I have read through the rules more than once, and agree to them.

How did you hear about us?: I have heard about you from my friend at school. Me and him both play Minecraft and like Rp servers a ton. He found out about you guys and told me, I then took a look at you and decided that I would like to join.

Character Name: Ornaro Halvern

Description:

Ornaro is a 38 year old Southeron. He is lightly skinned with a dark gray beard. Ornaro is generally friendly to everyone but does not take kindly to abuse or killing without reason. Ornaro can usually be found at the local tavern or out in the wild adventuring.

Bio:

Ornaro grew up in Oren throughout all his life. He was the eldest and only son of the Halvern family, consisting of his mother, Katherine. And his father, Boris. He is very educated in swords as his father worked as a guard for the king at the time. Even though Boris was very dissatisfied with his job, he taught Ornaro everything he knew. Boris kept on telling Ornaro that his dream job was to own a famous tavern in the center of Al'Khazar.

Ornaro was very close to his father. He loved and respected him, and was glad to be called his son. Every time his father would go off to battle, Ornaro wanted to tag along. Boris would simply shrug him off and say, “Don't worry, I'll be back before dinner!”. But one day he did not return, Ornaro though that he was just late and would come back the next day, he did not. After a few days they thought the worst, and it was confirmed by the Courier who delivered a dead letter to the Halvern household, that Boris Christopher Halvern was killed in battle.

Ornaro did not take well to this news. He disappeared in his room for many days, and when he was seen he often had his father's spare shield by his side. After a while he grew to accept that his father has passed and learned to cope with the results. Ornaro has learned that life is unexpected and to not let your guard down, he also wishes to carry out his father's dream as an tavern owner.

Your characters ambitions: Ornaro wants to run a tavern to carry out his fathers wishes.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Ornaro stops, puzzled about what to do. He then rushes to the Elves aid.

“What is this about?” asks Ornaro.

“That Nature freak owes us money!” reply’s one of the Bandits.

Ornaro reaches into his pockets hoping to find some Minas to pay the Bandits, but finds none.

“Can't we just put this whole thing behind us?” begs Ornaro.

“NO!” the bandit shouts back, “He owes us money now he's going to pay!”

“Well..In that case,” Ornaro starts, unsheathing his blade, “Have at thee!”

The bandits and Ornaro and the Elf get into a fight, Ornaro eventually overpowering the bandits.

“Fine, FINE!” Both bandits plead,”We'll go! WE'LL GO! Just spare us please!”

Ornaro lets the bandits go and helps the Elf back to Malinor.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

“Yes, um. How much is a loaf of bread?” Ornaro asks.

“Five Minas,” the shop keep responds.

“Ah, lovely!”, reply’s Ornaro reaching into his pockets and dropping the five Minas on the table. “Heard any new lately?”

“Sadly no,” the shop keep responds handing Ornaro the warm, steaming bread,”Been awfully quiet lately.”

“T'is a shame,” Ornaro responds, “T'is a shame..”

“Aye, well take care lad! Don't be a stranger!” the shop keep says, waving a hand at Ornaro.

“Don't worry, I won't” smiles Ornaro as he walks away from the shop, occasionally ripping off a bit of the bread and plopping it in his mouth.
