Concerning the Ascended, they city they had was VERY far away, and now they're in the North, not all of them will be online when attacks are happening, criticise them all you want RP, I do it. My character thinks they're a waste of space. OOCly however it's the opposite. They add some RP, sometimes interesting, sometimes not.

The words: "i know my char is retired, but he has been fighting for oren for longer than just about anyone, he also knows far far more about the undead than anyone else that will be going, does it really matter if he is on the council, he can certainly help" conveys a VERY elitist attitude. It also sounds like you're begging to get on the council, which is a waste of time.
