((And who cares if the meeting isn't necessary OOC. It is necessary for our characters because their country collapsed and they've been without a King and a Military leader for like a year and a half. Just because we know it isn't particularly necessary doesn't mean our characters do. Plus the new world is going to come after New Years a bit (I'm betting two weeks or so) ))
