Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am currently in my senior year of high school, but most of my classes are at the local community college. I am studying to be an engineer, but I have not decided between hardware or software yet. I am an avid reader and also love to play the piano. My favorite thing in the world, (Subject to change :P), is a good story. I love playing a villain/neutral kind of character, but ive read up on it and know I need to prove myself and submit the villain app and all that, so dont worry.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

With school starting up again, I would have to say... 10 hours a week just to be safe. I will most likely be on more than this, but wanted to be safe and account for school and such.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

To me RPing means telling a story. Its not about saving the world or destroying it, its not about becoming a king or a martyr. Its all about making a good story that everyone that can enjoy. Good stories, naturally, have both success and failure. Its all about becoming someone else and experiencing things you normally never would.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming - This is taking OOC information , such as you know someones character will act like this or this is his weakness because you read his app and know everything about him, and using it against them IC.

Powergaming - God modding, Mary Sue, Gary Stu. This is taking an RP situation and abusing and making things up so you never lose. Like being in a fight against an entire army? What do you do? Run? Give up? No. You use "new found" magic powers to annihilate the entire army. Thats powergaming.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect it to be a great, RP based, minecraft server. I would need some time to get back into the RPing mindset since I have been inactive on the RPing front for a few months, but I look forward to it.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

A friends private server and Tales of Mel-lenxia.

Friends - I still pop on every now and then, I just want something more from my multiplayer.

Mel-Lenxia - Ill be honest, it died. It was a good run and I stayed with them for a year, but it slowly ran out of players, quality fell, and it died.

From some friends, on skype, Aldriona for one. I also know Turikar, Falco and Lemondropzz. We played on ML together as well.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

((Feel free to correct me anywhere I am wrong, I am always open to critisism and would love help learning the lore better. As for the content of the history, if anything in there needs to be changed, just tell me and ill see to it that it is revised.))

History: Bregden was born to his parents, Diane and Nickolas , in the northern reaches of Oren near Winterfell. His father was a common soldier, one of the militia men always stationed near the front, or close to it. His mother was a seamstress in the city. As he grew up, Bregden had no schooling. He never learned anything but the basics in herb-lore and cooking from his mother and he never even got the chance to learn to read and write. His father on the other hand, taught him many useful things. He was taught the way of the sword, as best as a militia man know how to teach anyway, and he was also taught the ways of honor and respect, at least when talking to nobles, his father said.

With the years rolling by his father was sent out to battle the undead menace. Again and again he was sent out, more often than naught coming back defeated and dejected. At the age of 16, Bregden joined the guard of Winterfell. He watched the walls of his home vigilantly, and repelled the attacks of the undead with his fellow guardsmen. It was later this year when word reached them of the fall of Al'Kazar. Disheartened and with refugees flowing into the city, things looked grim.

2 years rolled by, same as always. Repelling the undead and taking in the refugees, when they hear word of a host of undead coming down from the north, heading for Winterfell. Horrified by the horde, Bregden takes his father and mother and leaves Winterfell, deserting the defends in their moment of need. That week, Winterfell fell to the scourge.

They joined the refugees after that. They moved from town to town for years, doing what they could to get by. During this time, Bregden took to drinking with the other refugees, against his parents better wishes. Eventually, Bregden left his family, taking with him his fathers old sword, and set off on his own. He wanted to atone for his desertion at Winterfell and defend his homeland against the raging horde of undead. It is with this that Bregden sets out to defends his home.

Age: 23

Appearance: Semi-tall, about 6'1". Wears pieces of iron strapped over basic leather armor most of the time, but has one or two other outfits, should the need arise. He has an old and nicked sword strapped to his pack and another, regular, sword on his belt. Blonde hair , shoulder length hair and green eyes.

Personality: Generally a polite, if a bit grim, person. Obeys nobles without question, as long as the order is within the law. He wont go a murder a shopkeeper because he gave the noble a bad deal, for instance. He refuses to hit a woman, even if they are attacking him. Respects the law and all men of the army/guard. He has absolutely no patience for deserters or the undead. He believes he is not worthy to join the army again, after his defection at Winterfell. Is an alcoholic and cant hold his drink at all.

Extra: As a drunk, he rages at most any bad comment about Winterfell and its fall or its defenders and grows quiet at the mention of undead or deserters.

Your characters ambitions:

The defense of his homeland and redeeming himself for his defection at Winterfell. To continue his training with the blade and to, at some point, kick his alcohol addiction.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

After putting his pack on the ground, Bregden would draw his sword and stand up straight and attempt to look as intimidating as possible before yelling and drawing the attention of the bandits, giving the elf a chance to run or do something. From there, if they don't leave the elf alone he would join the fight, in defense of the elf, for better or for worse.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

"Greetings sir." *Works the knots on his pack, eventually coming away with an old sword still in its scabbard.* "I need this repaired. Would you happen to know where the local smithy is?" *Listens to the directions while tying his blade back into place.* "Thank you my good man. Peace be with you." *Strolls down the street on his way to find the smithy.*

Other information: I have not rped in a few months, so I am very rusty. So with that, I would be glad to take anything I can get in the way of help. I tried to stay up to date on the ingame lore as best I could, such as the fall of Winterfell and everything. Finally, I am not the best at character creation so tips or tweakes are always welcome.

Dear me, I loved reading your app. Very comfortable with your work I can see and I'm happy that you seem so knowledgable about RP. So, my decision is Accepted. Now! A few things. First, take time to read over the Tutorials and Guides section, for some helpful tips and pointers. Second, please be patient as the GMs adds your Minecraft username to the server's whitelist bumping you up from "Wandering Soul" status.
