Title: The Prologue of Beginnings (May 26th)

'As the days of Spring draw to a close, a thin wisp of light augments the air. Why should I waste a moment of purity? I should not. It is the perfect time for a keen hunt. Not straying too far from my homing village, I was interrupted by a spiritual figure*. A solemn look in its transparent shape gave me a message, 'When the path of warriors peaks the dawn of creation, a new path shall lead you to mystery...'. Tales from worlds had inspired my adventurous mind as it evaporated into the mist. Thus continuing my hunt, I strode across a beast seldom seen - the troll. Taking careful aim, I slew my foe with ease and collected my well-earned reward; but the presence of the spirit would not leave. Like a mosquito for blood I could not escape its fellowship. I was bound by its words. The chills of its speech began to penetrate my body, less than a second it had reached my heart. In my mind I saw a sun setting, but also a sun rising. Only time could tell what would happen next...'

Title: The new land (May 28th)

'My desperate struggles were worthless against the power of the spirit, and no action could break me free from this unexpected fate. As the sun rose in my mind, my vision became clouded, and before the blink of an eye, the creature sent me to a new land*. It was the World of Aegis that I had just entered. I awoke slowly from within an ancient building, every limb became convulsed as I stretched. Being scared at first, thoughts of insanity rushed to my head as I had no idea what had stumbled before my eyes. It seemed I was born into some temple, possibly known throughout the land as a Cloud Temple. I looked through a window to see the same sun rising high into the sky. A beautiful new world had been thrown upon me like a new child. My memories were vague and mysterious, not as clear as before, and it looks as if I will have to attempt to remember my primary life. But for now. it seems as though my journeys are at their birth, their new birth...'

Title: First Day, First Adventure (May 30th)

'It took three hours to calm my mind from the act that had just occurred. Flailing violently around the Temple, it seemed to talk to me and ease my misery. But I was still shocked at the sudden change of events. The Temple spoke to me, *'You are a human, a proud member of the Kingdom of Oren, your new path awaits you, Zalladi'. At first I began to think I was dreaming, but this was no dream, nor a state of mind; it was real. I followed the path it gave to me, and it led me past the Whisper Isle and past the towers of Aemon and Daemon. I had not seen such magnificent structures in my whole life. Such beauty and craftsmanship that had erected such majestic creations. I was awed by the sight. Time came soon enough, and before my eyes lay AlKhazar, city of the Kingdom of Oren. My mind was purged with jealousy and envy. The sights were too stunning, thus I continued my path to my new life and new Kindred...'

Title: The Streets of Alkhazar (May 31st)

'*I strode down the path with a new determination in my troubled mind. Surprisingly, the gate guards treated me with pleasure, but they stood me to a halt and showed me a quick wanted poster. The poster read, "Wanted, Dead or Alive!" and there was a picture of a dwarf with red eyes who's name began with 'M', but he withdrew the poster before I could claim a better look. I carried on with my new thoughts around the City. The sights of the wooden-roofed houses caught my attention. Back in my other world, we had similar structures, similar designs. It made me feel at home, and I had no intent on leaving so soon. The paths curved up past the plots with building heavily upon them, and on the summit of a hill, lie the great castle shrouded in stone. A piece of radiance glimmered about its mane, and the size of the citadel decimated the skies. This was something new...'

Title: Stories of the Tavern (June 1st)

'To end my journey of new creation, I decided to visit the Tavern that was stationed nearby. As I entered, it seemed I had chosen the wrong time. A hooded man burst through the doors and fled upon the rooftops. How had he done that so quickly? As silent as the Wake, he disappeared from the midst of the city. Thoughts traversed my mind, and I entered the building slowly and cautiously.(1*) To my surprise, everything within the Tavern was normal; as if nothing had happened. Men were seated on a stool, drinking furiously as if in a competition. It did seem rather amusing as they stumbled and belched, and soon the keeper arrived. He greeted me and introduced himself as Found. With great anxiety we soon became friends. Moments later, a solemn elf strode in. It seemed as expected that everyone grew quiet, but it was not due to the difference of race, it was the wonder of his tales. Members gathered around him, and to me it was mysterious. I kept my business but listened in to the short story. It went something along the lines of,(2*) "Malin, the old ruler of my race, was the first elf to have lived these lands, along with his three brothers, Urguan, Krug and Horen. Each was different from one another, but sealed in blood as brothers. Although, one day, the day the winds changed their course, the day that the evil was sent from the heavens. Iblees had come. After offering gifts to hide his shadowy mind, he could not resist and fought with the orc. His transformation was absurd, bringing with him, beasts, creatures and dread. It was a dark day..." his speech was suddenly cut off, and a noise could be heard from outside the Tavern...'

Title: Assassination (June 2nd)

'*As quick as a dart, we strode outside. It was nearly nightfall. A scream pierced my ears as a body lay still on the ground. It was a man, stained in blood from the chest down. His feet were twitching; he was dead. Confusion began to play with my mind and I stood there puzzled and shocked. Guards came no moment later and began to order villagers away from the act. Who had done this crime? I already had my suspicion, "It was him!" I whispered in my mind, "The man who forced his way out of the door!". After glancing back to the corpse, I felt ill, and made my way back to the tavern to seek Found. As soon as I arrived he asked me what had occurred and I explained in the utmost detail - An assassination! To my curiosity he was not so surprised by this crime. "This is not the first time it has happened..." He spoke calmly. The sight of his strength of will inspired me, and he offered me a room for the night, I accepted, but the instance that I had encountered shall not leave my mind easily...'

Title: Disciples of Valor (June 3rd)

'I woke up to the sound of a beer brawl down in the main bar. I attempted to sneak past to exit the Tavern, but somehow I came involved. About 15 minutes later I was able to leave. As I strode out, the act that had occurred during the night had seemed as if it were a dream - was it? I pushed this thought to the back of my head and continued onward to find the information building I had seen on my first day. After finding it, I entered. I was searching for a job, or some way possible for me to earn income so I can support myself. Something interesting crossed my eye - 'Are you a Defender or Good? Join the Disciples of Valor today!'. The Disciples of Valor! They sound mighty and renowned as a guild, and so I left the house and began my search for Janik, the leader of the guild. Sadly, I went the whole day without finding him or any location whereabouts, and so, I returned to the Tavern. Found welcomed me in and noticed my dreary look, "What has you up in a clot?" he asked. "I was unable to find the leader of the Disciples of Valor" I replied. Found's face suddenly shifted to good spirit and he exclaimed, "Haha! The Disciples of Valor! Such noble people, for I am a member myself, I can introduce you to Janik tomorrow!". I was surprised by his words, and we began our conversation...'

Splendid reading, friend. Your tale is an intriguing one to be sure.

ooc: Is there anything Golden Sun cannot be mixed with to make it more awesome? I still stand by that both game's soundtracks provide some of the best video game music to date.

Thank you for the comment friend. Elves are the wisest of races.

OOC: I know many RPG game soundtracks - 'Golden Sun' and 'Golden Sun: The Lost Age' being by far the greatest, as I progress into my story, I am going to use some tracks from 'Blue Dragon' and possibly 'Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology' which are more of my favorites.

OOC: Once Found's Tavern has been created, I was planning to have a discovery and stories from within it, and thus this would begin the lore of my quests.

ooc: I haven't played either of those games, but you have inspired me. I was thinking, well, trying to think of ways to implement music into story-telling to go with what I've written for my journal entries, but I like what you've done here.

I hope you don't mind if I borrow the idea?

Not at all, friend, you can use this mechanic. Thank you for the good compliment Ezáreth!

OOC: Thank you deeply Availer, I myself cannot wait for release, and so I write what I gather from the lore and what is possible without making it unrealistic. There are better pages yet to come :)
