Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I am an avid gamer, who has played Minecraft since Beta 1.2, and have played on many other servers. I have found that many of them got monotonous and I decided that I wanted a new experience. After hearing about the in-depth play and the act of assuming a character in Lord of the Craft, I realised that it is the best server for me.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: I could be on the server from around 15 hours a week to 20 hours.

What do you know about Role-playing? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

Role-playing is the act of assuming the role of a character. This enhances the game experience as you play a character that could be completely different to what you normally would play.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are:

Metagaming is when you say or do something that your character would not normally know, such as knowing someone’s name when you have not met them. Powergaming is the act of interacting with a game in such a way to achieve a specific goal. This is achieved by using illegitimate means, such as glitches and oversights, or just spending time doing something repeatedly to "boost" yourself. Powergaming is used in many cases, to further your skills, attributes, gain money, level up, etc. Almost every game can be exploited like this, for exponential results.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect this server to have a kind community, I expect to have a great experience, and further develop my role-playing skills. I also expect that everyone will adhere to the rules and play the parts that they gave themselves.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on a number of servers, namely Mine Haven and Mike Land Factions. I left Mine Haven because I did not feel accepted, and on top of that the experience got rather dull at times. I left Mike Land after the server crashed and everything was reset. After that, I went back on and found that it was not quite as stimulating as before. I also hosted my own server - which had about 10 regulars - with the help of three friends, but after some issues with running it and payment, we stopped it.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have read the rules, and understood them. I fully agree to them.

How did you hear about us?: I heard about it from three friends of mine, Alzaan, FalconByte and Hyperion101.

Biography (This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

I am 47 years old, and live in Sanjezul with my father and brother. My mother died when I was seventeen, in an attack by a cave bear. I am missing a toe on my right foot, from a battle when I was six years old. I have dark green skin, and short brown hair. I wear a mask to hide the horror that is my face.

I grew up in a harsh neighbourhood, where I was bullied constantly. To this day I have scars running down my arms from when the other children used to drag their nails down it. I relish fighting, it is one of life's greatest activities. However, I have learnt to mainly control my bloodlust. Now, I do not kill every living thing I see. It is difficult, to keep myself in check, yet I manage it. I use my fighting to protect myself, and very occasionally others. If I am in a good mood, I may stop someone from getting bullied, because I know their pain. Normally, however, I will leave them to fight for themselves. The thing is, I do not completely control my bloodlust. I have rages and tantrums, but I have always managed to stop myself before hurting someone.

I was not the happiest person as a child. That has continued until today. I have a harsh personality. If someone is troubling me, I will not kindly ask them to remove themself from my presence, I will grab their arm and lead them away myself, then threaten that if they come back I will do a lot more. I like to think of myself as neutral, not evil, not good. I don’t kill people randomly, or for pleasure. Yet, I do not help most people in need.

I have spent a long time gaining knowledge about the world, finding out its deepest secrets. There is much I have yet to learn, which is why I train to be a shaman. If I could wield the power of magic, I could learn so much more, and therefore be safe in the knowledge that if I am attacked, or in any harm, I can protect myself from it using the arts of magic.

Your characters ambitions:

I want to be a successful shaman, able to use magic to further my knowledge and achieve renown throughout all of Aegis. I want to be able to feel safe walking through Aegis, being able to be respected as the person that I am. I want to be the best fighter in all Aegis, to be able to safely wander throughout the world and discover the secrets of where we dwell.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?:

I run up to them and bring out my axe, ready to take on the two bandits. The first slices at my knee, so I jump to the side and quickly take a swing at him. He dodges me, so I jump forward and swing the axe down onto his head. The next bandit is now behind me, already swinging his sword by the time I turn around. I try to hit the sword away with my axe, but I miss and he cuts a deep gash in my stomach. I feel a power inside of me, I swing my axe at his head, with all the power of my body behind it. He ducks away from the attack, then tries to bring the sword back round to hit me while I’m overbalanced. I use my momentum to roll away, and while he is off balance from the attack, I take a slash at him. Showing inhuman speed, he jumps backwards and at the same time jabs forward. He doesn’t have enough reach to hit me, but it makes me cautious. Instead of going for a full on frontal attack, I begin to think about the fight more than I usually would. As I’m thinking, he runs forward, jumps into the air and performs an aerial slice. I lean back, feeling the blade whoosh past me, then stab multiple times. On the second stab, I get him. He had just landed, and my sword caught him on his right shoulder. He tries to lift his arm, then screams in pain. I promptly chop his head off. I make sure that the other one is dead, then I grab the bandits and check their pockets and all the other obvious places. After I have searched through their clothes, I continue my trip, leaving the elf lying in the spot where he was knocked over, dazed and confused.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?:

"Hello, merchant. I would like a diamond axe and some well cooked beef and ale for my trip. I have heard that there is to be bandits along the road I am taking, so I must be well armed. Also, do you have any idea of how the weather is supposed to be? If it’s snowing, then I must postpone, because I have an irritating cold and being out in such weather would only provoke it.”
