The GMs told me to post my secondary character's IGN and backstory here, for documentation. Also, here is my previously accepted application Thanks for taking a look!

Character Name:Darius

Race:Human

Age:16

Backstory:

Darius was the firstborn son of a poverty-stricken couple in the Kingdom of Renatus. His father was a crippled farmer, his leg disabled by a fall that had ripped his Achilles tendon horribly while Darius was only a toddler. Fortunately, he was able to get around well enough, with the help of a cane, so the family managed to scrape by, with help from Darius' mother, who was, by trade, a midwife. Grateful families offered her small gifts in return for her willing assistance with birthing, the care of the weak, pregnant, or elderly, and with some common ailments. She served as a sort of amateur healer in the small village they lived in.

As a young boy, Darius often assisted his mother in concocting herbal medication or in caring for simple illnesses, so he had a fair grasp of medicine by the age of ten, when his father finally thought him old enough to help with the farming. For four years Darius toiled in the fields daily, though he was relatively happy, as he knew no better life. Unfortunately, such blissful ignorance would not last.

Several months after Darius' fourteenth birthday, his mother left inexplicably. When asked, his father curtly shook his head, refusing to speak on the matter. Later, Darius learned that his father had believed that his mother was sharing another man's bed, due to some odd circumstances that required Darius' mother to spend the night at a man's house several days in a row to care for his ill wife. Unfortunately, the man had a reputation for being unfaithful, and Darius' father had soon believed his wife was guilty of the crime, and chased her out of the house.

Over the next two years, Darius' father grew more cold and distant by the day, though it was due to no ill feelings towards his son. He had discovered heavy evidence that supported his wife's faithfulness, and became riddled with guilt because of his cruelty towards his innocent wife. He eventually lost the will to even leave bed, letting his son, Darius, do all the work in the home.

About halfway through his sixteenth year, Darius had finally decided that he could no longer bear his father. The man had grown insufferable, distant, and cold. Darius hated him for it. Hated him for chasing his mother away, hated him for having the arrogance to feel guilty and neglect his own family.

Darius left. He took all the food his pack would hold, along with a walking staff and a bag of herbs that he used for treating any injuries or illnesses he might acquire in his journey. As he walked away from the home he had lived in his entire life, he looked back regretfully one last time, hoping that his father would finally muster the will to continue his labor as he had before, to avoid starving to death.

A month later, Iblees' forces destroyed the Cloud Temple, forcing Darius to enter the Verge and board a ship to Asulon. Now, he seeks to find a way to establish himself as a person, and find out who he truly is.

Note: Darius is not an expert herbalist. He has very basic knowledge. As for combat, he can use the quarterstaff fairly well, though he's ineffective against any particularly strong people, trained soldiers, or anyone with a sharp sword or axe.

Personality in a nutshell: Darius is a generally hopeful person. He will look for the best, but he will not be surprised if the worst comes to pass. When taunted or insulted, he is capable of restraining his temper, though injustice infuriates him, as it reminds him of what his father did to his mother. He is remarkably thoughtful, and appreciates learning, though he cares little for scholarly pursuits, unless they have a practical application.

Ambitions: He really has none to speak of. He wishes to perhaps find his mother, one day, but he knows the chances are slim. He just wants to figure out who he truly is, and what he wants to do with his life. I suppose you could say that his ambition is finding his ambitions. :)

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Darius would probably pass by without stopping, since he would be incapable of defeating two bandits in combat. He would certainly regret being able to do nothing, though he'd not throw his life away for the slim chance of saving one man.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

Darius: He smiles at the man in a companionable fashion, "Hello, my good man. Do you happen to have any bitteroot flower in stock? A thief sneaked into my home last night and robbed me of the last bit I had. Expensive stuff, it is."

Extra Information: I didn't include an in depth RP scene, since my previous app shows everything you would need to know about my OOC RP ability. I just told you what he would do in each situation, in reference to his personality.

I enjoyed the read a lot. The biography is very well developed but you missed some questions.
