Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I live in Hong Kong, and like to play minecraft, I want to join LOTC to see how good an RP server is and spend my time on it.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

Roleplaying is the act of playing as if one is really in the environment the game simulation puts them in. This means acting as if the game is reality and behaving using only knowledge your player has learnt within the game.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming: I know two definitions of this term, the first is in roleplay where a player uses information gained from out of character or other sources against the rules to gain information. The second when it is used in sports or E-Sports where one will know an opponents strategy, and know the correct response, but will use a strategy to counter the response the other player might do to gain a competitive edge (Sorry if the second definition is unclear, I don't know how to explain it properly as I use it only in Starcraft 2).

Powergaming: Working towards a specific goal without considering RP and other game aspects.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

It will be a new experience for me involving RP, unlike I have played before in minecraft.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

Kingscraft Server: Quit because admin was inefficient.

Super-Earth: I want to see LOTC as I want to have a different experience

Elf (Specifically High-Elf)

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Kalenz Uradir was born in a small elf village north of Laurelin. His father was a great Elf Lord and posessed the great sword Elasibur a sword which burnt through all enemies of his father who was one of the great Elf's of the time, however not so long ago his father led an expedition to fight the undead menace and never returned, leaving his son to move to Laurelin and search for the fate of his father and the ancient sword Elasibur.

Age: 27 (Yes, young)

Appearance: Fair and of high elf complexion... Has platinum coloured hair and blue eyes.

Personality: Arrogant as high elves are but sometimes compassionate. Single minded about his goals. Has a particular distaste for spiders and skeletons as they remind him of the undead!

Your characters ambitions:

I will attempt to forge Elasibur, become a great prince of the Elven nation Malinor and of course find a solution to the undead menace.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Save the elf of course

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

But don't lose hope! After two days you can re-apply which gives you plenty of time to fix up your application and plan it out, as well as use all the advice I am about to give you to make it spot on. Also check out the links at the bottom of this page, trust me they really help.

Your definition for powergaming is incorrect; to find out the correct definition you can do a google search, join our Team Speak channel and ask around or search for Powergaming on our wiki.

Your biography could do with a little more depth and description. In your biography, in the history part all you have talked about really is your father and his sword, try to write about YOUR character and what happened to YOUR character as well.

I would like to see at least a PARAGRAPH for each role-play question and make sure for the combat question you abide by the rules of combat for the server. In role-play you will need to warn a villain before engaging in combat. At least a couple of lines from each person is needed for combat to initiate or it is considered a no-rp kill and you can get banned on the server for it. Do not just write:

I suddenly pull out my sword and kill the bandits. Then I ask the elf for money for helping him.

Write a dialogue as well as the actions of all those involved. This goes as well for the shop question, do not just write a single line, write a full scene. Write the actions of all involved in the situation and what they say, how they interact with each other.

I want to see how good you REALLY ARE at RPing and I want you to try as hard as you can when answering these questions.

Please imbed the image in your post as it we have been instructed to ignore links. I would also like to mention that you cannot use the tiny .png file as we cannot use that to judge what your skin looks like. To correctly upload your skin, you can do the following:

1. Go in-game and press the “F5” button TWICE. (Not once as this will show the back of your character)

2. Take a screen shot by pressing the "PrntScr" button on a windows computer or press F2 on the keyboard, then go to start => Run and type in this: %appdata%/.minecraft/screenshots

3. Find the screenshot and open it in an image manipulation program such as Paint or Gimp.4. Crop the image so that only the area close to your skin (including the skin) remains.

5. Save the file and go to tinypic.com

6. Upload the file

7. Click ONCE on the text box underneath: "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

8. Right click and copy the entire text

9. Paste in your new application
