Out-Of-Character:

Minecraft Account Name: MrBull

Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?: No.

How old are you?: 18.

Time-Zone/Country of Residence: My timezone is -6 Central, United States.

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: Yes I do.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I'm a calm playful gamer eighteen year old. I don't let my emotions take over my actions, but if I'm mad I just relax and take a small quick nap. I'm clumsy in real life, but that doesn't effect me at all in some cases.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: Most likely I would be on for around 1 hour or 2 hours.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: To me, role-play is a role in a character that you're not in real life. Like a simulator of another person's life and how you would act if you were on that person's shoes.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming is when a person mixes out-of-character related stuff to In-character. For an example: A farmer goes up to a stranger and sees the stranger's nametag, the farmer then shouts his name according to his name-tag without knowing it in-character. Powergaming is when a person does/have something that isn't realistic. Example: Ronnie beats up 2 knights with his own bare hands.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I don't expect anything, but the role-play I get to enjoy in-game.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: N/A

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: Yes I have.

How did you hear about us?: I saw a thread about this on a SA:MP community forums.

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you? No.

What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?: Sleepy

In-Character:

Character Name: Jason_Brainbarge

What is your Race?: Human

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.): The Brainbarge family can follow their family blood line all the way back to Lavandros Brainbarge the very first Brainbarge family member, formed by the uniting of two families by the act of marriage; the marriage of Hovos Brain and Luxius Barge. The Brainbarge family is known for being well accustomed with the act of commerce and trade, many of the family members spending their entire adult life in trading caravans earning their fortunes so they may continue this form of lifestyle, while also sending back their profits to the family household.

Although the Brainbarge family has now whittled down to a mearge number of sixteen family members ((four of these will be people playing as the characters themselves)), many of them in caravans and several back at the family household raising the Brainbarge children. However there are several exceptions to the Brainbarge trader lifestyle where some of the offspring go on to become farmers; healers; adventurers and, although unfortunate, a few have become bandits.

Jason became a farmer after travelling with his older brother. Although his brother didn't enjoy the thought of leaving Jason behind on his own with strangers, he knew it was the best option for him, as not to corrupt him further. The two brothers had a long discussion about their future and what they wish to be able to do for the rest of their life. Jason knew he would love to become a farmer until his bones would no longer support such a trade. He loves the dirt, mud and mother nature all around; he would once go out to look upon the stars at night, wondering how he could ever of been a human, since he was always more Elven. Jason's older brother then agreed with Jason to stay in the small town that they had been visiting for a short while. They began to search the area until they found a local wheat farm and the owner working on his crops, they asked if it would be alright if Jason could stay with him to learn his trade, in repayment he would gain an extra farmhand and all it would cost is some food and a roof over his head. The farmer chewed over the idea of gaining an extra worker, rubbing his chin for some and examining Jason. The old farmer gave Jason a basket filled with rice and told him to sort it out, to see how much he'd need to learn. Before the day turned to night, Jason went back to the lodgings to find that his brother had packed and shipped off to join his other relative which required his assistance, leaving nothing but a note reading "One day, we'll be together; all of us, together."

Many years had passed and Jason stuck to being a farmhand, until the farmer passed away leaving all of his possessions to Jason due to having no immediate family of his own. Jason used his new assets to continue manning the farm, until a letter arrived one faithful day reading "It's time, a cart will be there for the next blood dance, we need you." Jason quickly sold all of his property and bought as much equipment as he could before setting off.

Your characters ambitions: Jason's ambition is to live and pass on his wisdom to the next generation.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? After glancing at the elf fighting the bandits, Jason would quickly run far from the scene & gets help.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? Jason would reply: "Good evening sir, I was wondering if you have any boots for a bargain price? Working the fields takes it toll, even on a handy pair of boots like mine!"

Your application has been:

ei8mxg.gif

But don't lose hope! After two days you can re-apply which gives you plenty of time to fix up your application and plan it out, as well as use all the advice I am about to give you to make it spot on. Also check out the links at the bottom of this page, trust me they really help.

We would like you to include some lore from the world of Aegis and/or Asulon into your biography such as names of towns and people, or even events which have happened before and your characters connection to the event. You can find all about the lore of Lord of the Craft here: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page,'>http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page, or in the lore/history sections of the forum and website. For example you could write my character was born in the elven kingdom of . . . or near the human fort of . . .

I would like to see at least a PARAGRAPH for each role-play question and make sure for the combat question you abide by the rules of combat for the server. In role-play you will need to warn a villain before engaging in combat. At least a couple of lines from each person is needed for combat to initiate or it is considered a no-rp kill and you can get banned on the server for it. Do not just write:

I suddenly pull out my sword and kill the bandits. Then I ask the elf for money for helping him.

Write a dialogue as well as the actions of all those involved. This goes as well for the shop question, do not just write a single line, write a full scene. Write the actions of all involved in the situation and what they say, how they interact with each other.

I want to see how good you REALLY ARE at RPing and I want you to try as hard as you can when answering these questions.

Do not post another application within 2 days or that application will be skipped.

If you need any help don’t be afraid to send me a PM on the forums.

Good luck :)
