My name is Mel, I'm 23 years old and live in Missouri. I'm currently unemployed and looking for work. In my spare time, (which there is a lot of) I play computer games and watch TV.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

I know a lot about roleplaying. I've played "play by email sims" a lot growing up, and have roleplayed on several different Minecraft servers, WoW, SWtoR, and several MUDs. To me, Roleplaying is creating a character and progressing his or her story through the interraction with other characters.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming is using information from OOC in character to gain an unfair advantage. Powergaming is saying something like: *I swing my sword and instantly kill you*, instead of *I swing my sword and attempt to kill you.*

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect the server will be full of fun, roleplaying, and epic times with friends from the past.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I played on Empirecraft (the server closed), Nox Imperials (1.0 crashed the server and didn't come back after it was back up), and a few others I can't remember the names of because they weren't that fun. Currently, I play some on a server called Hollow World or something like that. There isn't much RP on it though.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Melody Star was born Mariah Cole in the outer reaches of the forest. Her parents had a small farm on the edge of the forest. Mariah spent her child hood tending the farm and hunting in the forest. She became very proficient in the use of a bow, surpassing her father in his skill. As time passed, money became more of a problem. Their crops failed season after season and Mariah's father became desprite for money. On her 17th birthday, her father arrived home from a distant village with a man, to be her arranged marrage. Sensing evil from this man, Mariah waited until late at night and fled through her window.

Once she escaped, Mariah travelled the forest, using her knowledge of it to hide from her father and the evil man. She decided to change her name to Melody Star, from an old story her mother told her as a child. She is now 25. She prefers to wear a black traveling cloak with purple trim. Her weapon of choice is a Bow and Arrows, but can wield a sword if needed. Generally on guard, Melody is a bit of a smart ass, using her wit to sheild herself from caring about others and her own feelings.

Your characters ambitions:

Melody's ambitions are to keep her past a secret. She travels a lot, having not found a place to settle herself down yet. Someday, she would like to have a home, a small farm, and not be always running.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Melody would stay in the trees, drawing her bow and attempt to take the bandits out at a range. If it fails, she would attempt to charge in and assist the Elf.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

"Good day, sir. I do not need your wares at the moment, but information you have about this town would be helpful. I require lodging for the night, and a warm meal if possible." *Melody slips her hand into her cloak, taking some gold coins out.* "I trust this is enough for the informatoin I require?"
