I play the drums, I like to read books like Eragon(I am very interested in Fantasy), and I really enjoy playing minecraft whenever I can.

Roleplaying is doing things that you could not normally do in real life, things that you wish you could do, but can't. Being a person that you create, and acting as if he were yourself.

In your own word, describe what metagaming and powergameing are:

Metagaming is using infomation that you character does not already know, Example: Alonso walks up to a shop and says hello Furher, Alonso does not know Furher's name. Also like walking to a castle with coordinates you saw in a chat log.

Powergaming is like "god modding" yourself so that it seems like you are just a complete winner at games, Example: Hero dodges 5 arrows and catches the 6th, throws it at the shooter, while simultaniously throwing knives at all the guards.

What do you expect this server to be like:

I have heard good things about this server, and I expect lots of nice players, no powergamers, and some very impressive structures

What other servers have you been on and why did you leave them:

I play on lots of different servers, and I like to go around and try new plugins, mods, and lots of other things.

Biography 1-4:

1 History:

I was a small young elf when one day, our village was under attack.I rushed outside as a child, not knowing what it meant. I thought they attackers were just travellers. One of the nicer raiders had found me (Not assuming he was nice, but nice as to spare my life) and I was taken captive, not knowing that I sadly, would never see my parents again. The Orcs that captured our village seemed to be looking for a forward outpost againt the Dwarves, and I had no knowledge of political matters at that time so I sat in my bedroom sometimes coming out for training in swords and bows to become a raider. So they took me under thier wing and raised me for war, I learned some valuable skills there with those Orcs. I learned how to fire a bow accurately (Probably more accurate, had I been raised under my parents), I learned how to survive the harash climates of Aegis, and would one day stand at the gates of larger cities.

I lived most of my life away from the Orcs after I turned 15, and decided to get a job working at a trade caravan. I lived most of my life on the road and fought off many waves of bandits over mountainous reigons, hot deserts, and cool, damp oceans and swamps. My survival skills were sometimes put to the test if I ever fell back from the caravan (Which I undoubtedly did), and always seemed to catch up somehow. Gelder always questioned my ability to this, I replied every time "Just my Elven luck". After earning a noticeable amount of money, I got a job as a lower ranking guard in a small village. One time it was attacked by some Orcs, (They must have known the ones from my childhood) they easily recognised me, and backed down.

I stand now at a place where my true adventures shall await me. I wish to see more of the world, an unsatiable hunger for exploration and discovery, and wish follow my destiny like none other.

2 appearance:

blue eyes, brown hair, Tannish skin, but always seems to wear his green robes and hood.

3 personality:

Always jumping into danger, Seems to get along with bandits better than others, very charming, and likes to hang out around traders most of his time. He also likes to practice shooting at targets with his bow.

4 Age: 23

Your characters ambitions:

To find a home in Asulon that he can settle down in.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?:Since we are both elves, I feel that I should help my brother, I devise a small plan while he is under attack, and initiates it. I fire an arrow to kill one bandit, and then run for cover while the other is trying to attack me. The other elf comes behind him and slashes him down, quickly thanking me for the help.

Your character walks up to a shop. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?"Good morning sir, I would like to purchase some arrows for myself" The shop owner replies:"Certainly sir, Let me see what you have" I hand him the arrows in my hand, purchase them, and then walk off and put them in my quiver.

I really hope that this time I get accepted, I really like roleplaying and I want to play on this server more than any other server I have ever applied to before

But don't lose hope! After two days you can re-apply which gives you plenty of time to fix up your application and plan it out, as well as use all the advice I am about to give you to make it spot on. Also check out the links at the bottom of this page, trust me they really help.

We would like you to include some lore from the world of Aegis and/or Asulon such as names of towns and people, or even events which have happened before and your characters connection to the event. You can find all about the lore of Lord of the Craft here: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page,'>http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page, or in the lore/history sections of the forum and website. For example you could write my character was born in the elven kingdom of . . . or near the human fort of . . .

The answers to the roleplay questions could do with some improvement. For the first one it is not a case of if the bandits take my bribe, then I will protect the elf. The Rp questions are open response, which means you decide what happens, and then you decide how the enemies react and what choices your character makes. Make it interesting, and above all make it realistic.

The same thing goes with the second one, everyone (and I mean everyone) just writes that they buy something, and leave. What is that? It shows a lack of effort in my opinion. All you have to do is use your imagination, create something innovative, exciting and fun for the reader. There are endless posibilities, for example you could write that the shop keeper is actually a bandit who is luring victims into his shop and then he gets his thug friends to come in from the rear to block your escape, or perhaps the shop keeper tries to cheat you of an item and you respond by calling the guards and something exciting happens. The posibilities are endless, all you have to do is be creative.

3. Find the screenshot and open it in an image manipulation program such as Paint or Gimp.4. Crop the image so that only the area close to your skin (including the skin) remains.

5. Save the file and go to tinypic.com

6. Upload the file

7. Click ONCE on the text box underneath: "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

8. Right click and copy the entire text

9. Paste in your new application
