Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am a high school student who likes to play minecraft in my spare time and i am on holidays at the moment so i have more spare time to play minecraft. But once i get back to school i will not have as much time.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: well role play is when you pretend to be another person and i may sometimes enjoy it.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.: Metagaming is when you use out of game information to affect your in game choices. Powergaming is where someone will use and force their own will upon someone inflicting them to do as they please without the chance of resistance.

What do you expect this server will be like?: i expect this server to be very good because my friends have been accepted.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:I have played on multiple servers that my friends have hosted and others but have left because of them being faulty.

Character Name: erak silversky

What is your Race?: elf

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Erak Silversky was exactly like any normal elf child except he had been born into a royal blood line of elf fighters that lived in , a large and dangerous forest, the ideal place for such kinds of warriors to live. Erak's father, Aries and his mother Kassandra were both master fighter's trained in the armed combats arts of sword skills and Archery. Elf fighters were generally put into fighting categories for their genders, male elf fighters were trained in swords skills and female Elf fighters were trained to be very quiet and stealthy whith ther archer skills ,the special consideration of few royal blood lined fighter elfs could be trained in both. Aries and Kassandra were both masters of their fighting categories.

After the later years Erak's mother and father fell in battle. he was left alone as an orphan ,he was the transferred to a training boarding school and made a fried named gunthorian hamerfist they became very good friends and later on became partners in fighting. Erak was a special child and would overpass everyone in his class in sword fighting. When Erak was 14 years old gunthorian and Erak broke out of boarding school and where venturing through the forests because they had heard of a land called Asulon. When Erak and gunthorian reached there destination they had an argument and went there separate ways.

After 10 years Erak and gunthorian had run into each other at the army sing ups and they both apologized and they they became partners in battle.

Your characters ambitions: He would like to become part of an army with his friend ares.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits.

What does your character do? My character would try to fight them off "back away from the elf you bandit scum" then after struggling to defeat them"please sir do not take us to the guards" he took them to the guards and the guards dealt with them.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

Erak would look to the man and say "hello good sir how are you today"?

"i am good how are you" "i was looking for a wooden sword today can you do that for me" "that would be 30 gold please" "that is fine sir here you go" "thank you have a good day" "you to thank you"

But don't lose hope! After two days you can re-apply which gives you plenty of time to fix up your application and plan it out, as well as use all the advice I am about to give you to make it spot on. Also check out the links at the bottom of this page, trust me they really help.

I feel as if you have been a little lazy with a couple of the answers. I would like you to put a little more effort into your application next time.

This is why I denied you:

Your definition for role-playing was a little lax.

You have made up lore, and put in some lore-breaking information into your biography.

You were a royal in your biography (you are not allowed to do this, as everyone starts off equals in Lord of the Craft. It is what you do in game, which may earn you royalty.)

The age of your elf is much too young.

The answers you have written for the RP questions are really short, and need some improvement.

You have not included a picture of your skin.

How you can improve:

You need to add some lore into your biography, and remove the parts that do not fit in with the current lore. In elven society, generally females and males are equals in the sense that they can both do what ever jobs or combat roles they feel like. There is no pressure for a male or a female to be trained into anythign they do not feel like training in. You also need to remove that you were "Royal", because currently all the spots in royalty are filled with actual players who have earned their positions. I would like you to read the Lord of the Craft wiki here: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page and the world history page on the forums (You will find it if you go to the main page of the forums and scroll down a bit. I must warn you, there is a lot to read there so either get ready for a long night with some hot chocolate or coffee or just be selective with what you read), then include some of that into your biography. This can be from the name of a town that you were born in, to the nation that your adventures take place in.

Elves mature at a much slower rate than the other races, this is because they have much longer lifespans. There is much dispute as to the proper age of maturity; some say that it is two times slower so the full age of maturity would be 50, and others say that it is as much as over 8 times, so even 200 would not be fully mature. Please take this into consideration when creating your characters age.

You need to put a lot more effort into both of your RP senarios. These are "Open Response"; this means that you decide what happens, but that also means you have to write what happens. You cannot just write "When I defeat the bandits", How did you defeat them? Did you charge in with a sword? Did you use a bow and arrow? Did you kick them? Punch them? Scratch them? But please also take into account you are not invincible. You take damage as much as the next man, infact these bandits are much more likely to come out victorious then you are (unless of course the elf helps, but he is injured and these two bandits are at full health (or are they? You decide!). Get creative! Make something exciting and spontaneous happen. This is your show, just try to make it innovative, origional and above all REALISTIC.

The same thing goes with the second one, it is so bland. Almost everyone who applies writes the same old script: Walk into shop, buy something. Pay. Thank the shop keeper. Walk out.

Does this look like fun RP to you? Or does that look boring. Think of something OUTSIDE the box, something someone has never even thought of before. Perhaps you are in an enermy races town and you are scouting for information (but actually look at the current wars and what is going on. I believe that Salvus is at war with another human settlement at the moment, perhaps you can use that to your writing advantage?). Like I said before this is your show, you decide what happens, but make it realistic.

For me to accept you I must be able to view your skin as I need to judge whether it is acceptable for this server, reason being if someone joins this server, but do not show their skin but they have a tron skin on I would be in big trouble. This is one of many ways to upload a picture of you skin and embed it into your application:

1. Go in-game and press the “F5” button TWICE. (Not once as this will show the back of your character)

2. Take a screen shot by pressing the "PrntScr" button on a windows computer or press F2 on the keyboard, then go to start => Run and type in this: %appdata%/.minecraft/screenshots

3. Find the screenshot and open it in an image manipulation program such as Paint or Gimp.4. Crop the image so that only the area close to your skin (including the skin) remains.

5. Save the file and go to tinypic.com

6. Upload the file

7. Click ONCE on the text box underneath: "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

8. Right click and copy the entire text

9. Paste in your new application

Do not post another application within 2 days or that application will be skipped.
