The Wandering Man's End

[Braxis 813]

*Braxis looks at his Bandaged Hand and rubs his head as he remembers the other night when he left Renatus to head to Salvus and took a short cut through the woods*

Braxis looks up to the sky as he says "Bloody I hate the rain!" Then he hears a rustle in the trees. Braxis Looks around and before he sees anything, everything goes black. He awakes he sees a familiar face and he is shackled to a wall with some rather Old and worn shackles. Braxis sighs and he says " Really Tamara? Going to knock me out so ye can shackle me and do only the light knows what?" Chuckling Tamara goes "You are getting weaker Braxis... and making this to easy for me.. But for now...let the fun began Eh? I need some good payback for ratting me out to Renatus, The Dwarfs and some hunters. And for what Torturing and threatened someone ye like? well Time for me payback!" With that said Tamara pull out a some weird dust glowing as if it was on fire and tosses it onto Braxis face. Roaring and pain and anger Braxis endures the pain as Tamara laughs. A Little Hot eh? well this should help! Tamara leave the room only to return with a tub of Ice cold water. Braxis sighs as he thinks what Tamara is going to do. Tamara Pulls the tub in front of Braxis and then starts to dunk his head into the ice cold water, washing off the burning pain from the powder but replacing a pain done by Ice and the burning from the cold. After hours of doing this over and over Tamara brings out a new tool. A hot iron rod and starts to whack and stab Braxis with it with every blow and stab done Braxis body tightens in pain and as he starts to scream from the pain after many hours Braxis is on the brink of losing it. Right before he gives up and lets himself succumb to the pain Tamara stops as they both hear much knocking on the door upstairs. Tamara grumbles and leaves.

Braxis hears some people talking " We are going to Kill some People in the woods near Renatus want to come with wandering? says the unknown man. Chuckles "Yes I was getting bored with Braxis I will get new ideas on the way their and back! Let me grab me blade and amour!" Braxis Sighed in relief and was about to rest and await Tamara's return. but then something caught his eye a small chain link that connects the his shackles to the chain and his cuffs is small, brittle and worn looking. Braxis looks to the torch next to him as he starts to ponder. He nods and put the back of his hand on the torch burning his hand but also heating up the chain link. After hours of doing this and moving his hand for a small amount of time to release some of the pain it was causing. And notice Tamara left a bag of that burning powder near Braxis feet. He slowly dragged it the center of his feet. He closed his feet on the bag and threw it into the air. Causing the powder to fly all over the place and it started to land on the Chain and its link as well as Braxis Upper body. He screams in pain and is about to see what this stuff does. But before he can do anything Tamara Returns and he sounds mad. "Bloody Guards! When did they start patrolling the forest roads?! when did they give a darn about the people i sure didn't as a guard!" Tamara walks in and see Braxis hand and covered in the burning powder. Chuckling he says "Trying to kill yeself eh? Well here let me help" Tamara draws his sword and walks closely to Braxis. Braxis Smirks and Says "Be ready for the un expected I though I taught ye this back at Alkhazar?" With those words said Braxis put the dust covered chain on the torch causing a very small explosion of light. Tamara covers his face as when he uncovers his face all he sees is Braxis Fist coming at him.

Tamara is knocked back and drops his sword in shock and in pain as he says "Me nose! I think ye bloody broke it!" Braxis Picks up the nearby sword which was almost out of his limited reach and uses it to break the second chain. Braxis stands and says "I have survived many things Tamara, Things that make ye look like a halfing with a letter opener." Braxis swung the sword slashing Tamara's Chest. Tamara grunts in pain and searches for a weapon. He goes for the Hot iron rod in a furnace nearby. But before he knew it Braxis Impaled Tamara with the sword through his chest. Tamara in shock fell to the ground. Braxis falling to one knee after being tired of all this. Braxis looks down at Tamara and is about to say something. But then he catches something in the corner of his eye he did not notice he knocked the torch down and the fire slowly was spreading to a pile of the bags of burning powder. Braxis Stood fast and started to search for a way out of the house. Until he found the door and barged out. After a couple of steps out he turned back and saw the house doors and any open spot for light. Light up inside with a small Boom noise in the back. Braxis Nods and collapses and closes his eyes knowing his friends are safe from the Wandering man. Braxis Wakes to see a face he has not seen in years. His Cousin Gideon Silverblade Gideon chuckles going "Cousin ye are always almost dead when I find you? I though you retired? Well I Healed you stab wounds for you but that burn mark on your hand is a big one, will take some time for the scar to go away" Braxis Still in shock for Gideon was missing for 5 years now. Braxis sighs not knowing why due to it most likely being a weird reason. And tells Gideon of the event. Gideon nods and says "well Tamara is gone well good the traitor got what was coming to him" They both nod and head for Braxis Home to tell the others.
