*Viadar stands before the Sarients of the Order in Hanseti City*

Sarients of the order. I have thought long and hard on our role in this new land and have been quite troubled for some time. My long meditations in the crypts among the Kings of Old has however brought clarity.

We had in the past, as a fringe faction sought to bring about change to the human nations. We have done it however from isolation and with grand military action. This must change as the demon is in the details and in the small things of ordinary folk.

I as a result have called a crusade and I ask my brothers in the order to do likewise.

Each Sarient is asked to take a crusade of his choosing:

A Crusade of Knowledge:

Great mysteries are everywhere in this new land and we must seek them out. Great relics of power and tomes I am sure have yet to be discovered. If ye take this crusade you must bring back a relic or tomb or through your simply tales of your travels through this land.

A Crusade of the Realm:

Through trade, diplomacy or simply yer labors better the Realm. Neutral towns and other nations populate this land and we must make friends where we can and identify threats to the realm.

A Crusade of Chivalry:

What is a knight if not for his chivalry and honor? You must perform a chivalrous task. See travelers along the southern road and protect them from the dead who walk this earth. Seek out fledgling towns and bring them relief. Save a princess in a tower *Laughs*

Upon completion of your crusade record your duties in this grand tome.

*holds up a leather bound book trimmed in gold filigree*

Put it before your fellow sarients to judge its merit and if it is found to be a truly extraordinary feat, I Viadar title ye Grand Sarient!

What good is title though? What more does one need then their honor and word?

As a grand sarient ye may take a squire. One that you can hopefully instil the same sorts of values and training in. The squire may be anyone of yer choosing and may not even be from the Realm. After having completed such a crusade who are we to question your judgement and pick of squire?

The squire will also be granted all rights of a citizen of the Realm of Hanseti. Choose wisely however because as your ward they carry yer honor with them.

Rise Sarients! Make yer claim to glory! Throw down your gauntlet and seek glory and honor for the realm!

Sarients if ye require supplies, armor or direction in yer crusade I take yer questions now*

*Viadar takes a knee facing the ocean off of memorial hill ax supporting his weight, head bowed almost in prayer*

I Viadar swear to the Kings of Old and to the Realm that I will seek out the hungry and defenseless and to bring them relief. Many suffer under these skies but I will seek out those that need help the most. I will travel into the deepest wilds and seek those who lived like I before the order took me in. I travel not hindered by exhaustion, hunger or fear so long as my vow remains.

My word is my bond.

*as Horus kneels down, on the nearest pedestal within the chapel, he takes his decision of crusade.*

I, Horus, swear to take a crusade of Chivalry, since my first steps in Aegis, all I had done is take advantage of those around me, but now, I plan to reverse my history, to let my name be of fame, not infamy.

*he gets up from the pedestal, wiping dust from his knees, and performs the gesture of the cross over his chest, and walks back out of the chapel, to ready for his crusade*

Viadar, I have chosen to take the Crusade of Knowledge upon myself. I have some information of this new land to show you. When I was exploring the new land I found a place called Crescentfall Bog and in this bog there's these mysterious meteors. They might have valuable ores or technology from other worlds if there are indeed other worlds out there.

Sarient Dain,

Ye can make your work on the Realm part of yer crusade. The northern walls need finishing among many other large projects. To complete these would be a colossal task indeed requiring possibly a year of labor or more!

Do not think ye need to leave the realm to embark on yer crusade.

Brutus kneels down alongside his brothers.

"I, Brutus, pledge to partake in a crusade of knowledge. I shall venture forth through the lands of Asulon, through cities and wilds alike, to discover a piece of glory worthy of the Realm - whether it be a relic of old or the experience of the journey itself. So be my vow; may it give me strength."

He stands and leaves to gather supplies and equipment for the journey to come.

*as Horus walks back across the wooden infrastructure. As he balances his way back to the presence of Viadar, he wishes for the structures he builds, to be a crusade of his own.*

With a short conversation, Viadar agreed to it, and Horus quickly clambered back along the wooden supports to start his supposed "crusade".
