Adrien hands the small, rusty dagger to Bydal, demanding one, foolish wish. " I want you to take this, and slit my throat." Refusing, Bydal keeps the dagger to himself, leaving Adrien to greater forces to end him. " Stealing? I'll have guards on you! Now give me the blade, or I'll have to kill myself. . . In other forms." Caring less, Bydal allows him to pass and kill himself. Adrien sprinted towards the lake, jumping over the cliff of the temple, and dived head-first into the lake. Adrien giggled to himself, leaving with the last words, " Go to the Nether and burn, Bydal." As the air escaped his lungs, Adrien smiles to himself, able to meet the rest of his departed family.
