Description of yourself:

I'm a fantasy and medieval game-play lover. Such as WoW and in minecraft I'm not a griever and bummer, etc. Also I've never been banned from any server for anything.

How much time would you spend on this server weekly?:

I would be on during the weekends and Fridays so about 10 hours maximum.

Definition of Role-playing: Power gaming it self ha several roles it could play like an optimal player that is aiming to achieve maximum power. Another form is to take control of the server field and uproot and change all the NPC’s personality and how they act. It could also just be a boring person who makes the experience and role-playing less fun for other people.

Role-playing: The acting out of a role with the person trying his best to achieve making his or her own character seem real as possible.

Definition of Metagaming and Power-gaming:

Metagaming: The use of information which is not from ‘the game world’ to affect your in the ‘game world’ decisions.

Power gaming: The experience of someone making role-playing less fun Such as in minecraft if someone has just installed a nation into the world it just got grieved because that particle person just was unhappy because it wan’t the way he or she liked it. Now if there a war going on between that particle nation and another I can under stand. Though is they just stick by the rules of their own community and think that every one else has to follow those rules that’s like a power gaming person. Or it could just be a power hungry person who wants everything for him self.

What do you expect what this server will be like?:

I expect it to be a non-grief and mega adventure server with great admins and interactive controls to shape your guys world.

What other servers did you play on and why did you leave?:

I played on AOcraft and funkytown and that's about it. Why did I leave? Well, that is because the servers got kinda old and boring but after a while the whole server just looked dead.

Biography:

Before Rotgar was born his parents had an interesting way to get to “know” each other. Rotgar’s dad was a general in the Human army. His mother was a soldier under his command when Rotgar’s dad (John) and his mother (Rose) were attacked while on a stealth mission the fled thus finding this hidden camp. After about a year (as I was told) they got married. Then when they had a child they decided to name him Rotgar which in the camp means “Good with a Sword.” His Parents then raised him from birth with the greatest care and loving they could give him. Though since Rotgar was in the first legion they didn’t see him that much.

When Rotgar was born he was raised in the first legion of course all of us were jealous of him. Though even when he was young he still was a great soldier. Later on about when Rotgar was 13 years of age he became a fully fledged soldier. After this when he went to skirmish a neighboring clan with his mother and father in the legions right beside him. When they got back about 50 soldier were taken as casualties or prisoners of war. We in the fifth legion were absolutely horrified. Rotgar was the only one left of his family. His mother and father died in battle back-to-back. When a spear gouged their chests. The leader gave Rotgar the title of Pilgrim. Then he cast Rotgar off on a pilgrimage. In our camp pilgrim mean “One who goes out and fights, establishes as camp, and prays at shrines. Though all my wish for Rotgar is that may he return home safely.

My character's ambitions:

To fulfill his pilgrimage and not die in the process so he can fulfill the leader’s wish.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?: He looks around before seeing one of the bandits was already heading his way! When he tried to wrestle him down into the bandit down into submission the bandit took out a knife and stabbed him. Rotgar fought back the pain and nailed the bandit over the head with the pommel of his sword. The bandit stumbled backward before taking a blade to the heart. Then as Rotgar turns toward the other bandit. He saw that the bandit forced the elf into submission almost killing him before rushing into the cottage and starting to take the valuables. When Rotgar reached the splintered door he saw the bandit turn toward him with a dagger in one hand. The immediately went at it exchanging blows until Rotgar found an opening in the bandits guard finishing him. Then Rotgar goes out helps the elf up and having him rest in the bed inside the cottage.

Your character walks up to a shop in the middle of Al'Khazar. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?:

“You may help me with directing me towards the nearest postage shop.” Rotgar says. “ Well, my good sir its right down the street then take a left.” The merchant says. “A great thanks to you merchant here have a little coin.” Rotgar says.

I believe it is about time you take a break from applying to the server. After 12 attempts and still not getting accepted is usually grounds for not being allowed to apply again to the standards of the application team. I did not believe this to be the case, but it seems to be the general consensus. I would rather be more lenient and say: "Just take a couple month break." And I shall do so, but my decision may be overturned and you may well end up with a ban from applying. Let us keep our fingers crossed and hope that is not the case.

In any case I still own you reasons and feedback on your application so here they are:

The application form you have used is editted and is not in the proper format.

You have not included a definition of roleplay.

This is a very much required part of the application process. I suggest that you do some research on the subject or at least record what roleplay means to you. Including some examples would benefit you also.

Both the definitions you have provided for powergaming are either incorrect or not what we are looking for.

Luckily for you there are plenty of ways to learn the correct definition. First of all you can look on the lord of the craft wiki and then search for "Powergaming", you can join our Team Speak channel (You can get Team Speak from http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads ), or you can do a google search.

Your biography needs a lot of improvement.

. Please include the entire question when writing your biography such as your characters history, personality, description and age. With the description don’t just write He is tall and old and carries around a bow. There are a lot of tall, old people who carry around bows. Get descriptive; what is your hair colour? How long? Eye colour? Big eyes? Small eyes? Do you have wrinkles? How tall are you? Are you muscled or slim but agile?

You also need to add your characters strengths and weaknesses as well as reasons for such. For example, if your character is good at swordsmanship, bows or even farming you need to explain in your biography why your character is so good in what it does and how it developed these skills.

We would like you to include some lore from the world of Aegis and/or Asulon such as names of towns and people, or even events which have happened before and your characters connection to the event. The types of lore you can include can people places such as towns and kingdoms, or even people or events (such as the exodus from Aegis to Asulon which affected almost everyone).

The second RP situation needs improvement.

Everyone (and I mean everyone) just writes that they buy something, and leave. What is that? It shows a lack of effort in my opinion. All you have to do is use your imagination, create something innovative, exciting and fun for the reader. There are endless possibilities, for example you could write that the shop keeper is actually a bandit who is luring victims into his shop and then he gets his thug friends to come in from the rear to block your escape, or perhaps the shop keeper tries to cheat you of an item and you respond by calling the guards and something exciting happens. The possibilities are endless; all you have to do is be creative.

Your skin is in the wrong format and is not a "Screenshot".

Your character skin is a tiny .png file that we cannot use to judge if your skin is RP enough or not. (although it would be possible to download it or view it in a skin editor, we application team members are extremely busy and do not have the time to do this.) To upload a correct image of your skin to the forums please follow these steps:

1. Go in-game and press the “F5” button TWICE. (Not once as this will show the back of your character)

2. Take a screen shot by pressing the "PrntScr" button on a windows computer or press F2 on the keyboard, then go to start => Run and type in this: %appdata%/.minecraft/screenshots

3. Find the screenshot and open it in an image manipulation program such as Paint or Gimp.4. Crop the image so that only the area close to your skin (including the skin) remains.

5. Save the file and go to tinypic.com

6. Upload the file

7. Click ONCE on the text box underneath: "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

8. Right click and copy the entire text

9. Paste in your new application
