I certainly believe I do :) I've been studying it since elementary school and have a 650 score on the TOEFL.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

I was proudly born in the USSR and raised in Russian. I went to the Russian embassy school in Mexico city and was brainwashed by the public system of education. Basically, since I graduated highschool, I've grown to despise in many ways the harm that was done by the Soviet regime to my country. Now I live in Mexico, study international relations and generally enjoy myself :)

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

Actually not too much. A couple of hours a day, probably. I am finishing my undergraduate studies this semester and have to apply to the MA and do all the beaureucratic things implied. But I do love Minecraft, so I always find some time for it.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

Roleplaying is acting as someone you are not but would like to be. Playing cops and burglars as a kid was actual roleplaying.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming implies taking the game experience out of the game. If I were to hear a conversation between players of a rival clan outside of the game saying that there will be a suprise invasion on my clan's base and I warn my own partners in crime about it, I am metagaming.

Powergaming, on the other hand, is taking a lot of the fun out of games. Instead of playing to enjoy the process, it implies gaming for the sake of a goal. In an RPG I'd say it would imply just leveling to have the most powerful character as well as going through the storyline without taking sidequests.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect it to be civilized, griefer-free and with an awesome social component that most servers lack. I must accept I do aspire to be the Emperor that unifies the entire land under my rule..)

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I have played on Greencubes.ru, but had too much lag. Mikeland (sheen.id.au), but I got tired of the grifieng. A friend and I built a flying island and it got destroyed on the next day. I guess those are the biggest servers I've played on consistently.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

I most certainly have.

A friend of mine told me about it, I checked out the Wiki and fell in love :)

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Kraeugolnikov is a rare individual. His face is always covered by the shade of his long black robe, and is, it is said, covered in scars from the many battles he has had with wild animals. No one knows exactly where was he born, but many remember him since the day they first saw the light, wandering through their home villages and asking for a coin or a piece of old bread. But the wanderer has decided to settle, at least for some time, somewhere in the woods of the South. Some say they have heard of mercenaries riding into those lands to join a mighty army. Others say it's all lies.

The truth is, that the journey that Kray had started from the first years of his life, as a street urchin following the death of his parents, has come to an end. He feels now the need to have a place to go and, strangely, huge, almost maniatic, political aspirations, for during his travels he has learned the secrets of persuasion and justice.

It is now that his true journey begins... (I like somewhat dramatic beginnings..:))

Your characters ambitions:

To earn, to rule and to conquer.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Kray runs up to the scene shouting maniacally to try and scare the bandits off. In case the bandits don't run, he has already raised his wooden staff. Today he helps a stranger and tomorrow that stranger's a friend.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

Greetings to you, merchant. What goods do you offer the cheapest today?

Do not worry though; this does not mean you cannot apply again, quite the contrary! After two hours you may apply again which gives you plenty of time to fix up your application, plan it out as well as use all of this advice which I have given you in this post to make your application one of the best. Please check the links at the bottom of this post, they will help you so much.

This is an interesting application, but there are a few errors which need to be fixed before I am able to accept you.

This is why you were denied:

You have a definition of powergaming relevant to an "RPG" and not an "RP" server.

Luckily for you there are plenty of ways to learn the correct definition. First of all you can look on the lord of the craft wiki and then search for "Powergaming", you can join our Team Speak channel (You can get Team Speak from http://teamspeak.com/?page=downloads ), or you can do a google search.

Your biography is in need of improvement.

We would like you to include some lore from the world of Aegis and/or Asulon such as names of towns and people, or even events which have happened before and your characters connection to the event. You can find all about the lore of Lord of the Craft here: http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page,'>http://www.lordofthecraft.net/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page, or in the lore/history sections of the forum and website. The types of lore you can include can people places such as towns and kingdoms, or even people or events (such as the exodus from Aegis to Asulon which affected almost everyone).

Both RP situations need to be improved.

You cannot just write that “I kill the bandits” or “I help the elf”. There must first be some role-play such as talking and some warning before the combat takes place. Be as descriptive as possible when writing about the situation. Include all of the bandits and your actions, as well as all of the speaking that takes place. Instead of writing it like “I would do this, and then this and then the elf would thank me.” Write it like a story so: Zolgash would bellow in an attempt to scare the bandits. “Get away from that elf or you will taste my steel!” The bandits laugh at the orc and turn towards him, but still keeping an eye on the elf. “Ya don’t scare us, green flith.” The bandits charge at Zolgash, meeting steel on steel. See the difference?

You need to write a lot more for the second one. Everyone (and I mean everyone) just writes that they buy something, and leave. What is that? It shows a lack of effort in my opinion. All you have to do is use your imagination, create something innovative, exciting and fun for the reader. There are endless possibilities, for example you could write that the shop keeper is actually a bandit who is luring victims into his shop and then he gets his thug friends to come in from the rear to block your escape, or perhaps the shop keeper tries to cheat you of an item and you respond by calling the guards and something exciting happens. The possibilities are endless; all you have to do is be creative.

There is no skin attached to your application.

For me to accept you I must be able to view your skin as I need to judge whether it is acceptable for this server, reason being if someone joins this server, but do not show their skin but they have a Tron skin on I would be in big trouble. This is one of many ways to upload a picture of your skin and embed it into your application:

1. Go in-game and press the “F5” button TWICE. (Not once as this will show the back of your character)

2. Take a screen shot by pressing the "PrntScr" button on a windows computer or press F2 on the keyboard, then go to start => Run and type in this: %appdata%/.minecraft/screenshots

3. Find the screenshot and open it in an image manipulation program such as Paint or Gimp.4. Crop the image so that only the area close to your skin (including the skin) remains.

5. Save the file and go to tinypic.com

6. Upload the file

7. Click ONCE on the text box underneath: "IMG Code for Forums & Message Boards"

8. Right click and copy the entire text

9. Paste in your new application
