Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?

No, I did not attend Minecon.

How old are you?

14

Time-Zone/Country of Residence

United States - Pacific Standard Time

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?

Yes, I am American.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself

Minecraft is the only game I have ever really gotten into, and that is hugely due to the fact of the outstanding community on my former server. I love to have a good laugh, and would describe myself as an energetic kind of guy. Im extremely curious, and love to explore.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?

I tend to spend around an hour to hours on weekdays and several hours on weekends.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.

In my view, Roleplaying is the art of creating a role and extending that role by adding characteristics and qualities you deem fit for that character. Fantasy characters play with one another in a world created solely by your imagination, with your personal feelings and desires engraved in the role and world you create.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.

Metagaming - Bringing external content into the game to affect in game situations. One does this by using out of content information to create an advantage in any area of the rules or guidelines in the game. Basically using OOC information IC.

Powergaming - Roleplaying by forcing actions upon others. You make your character supreme and "master" certain parts of the game, which typically ruins the roleplay experience for everyone else.

What do you expect this server will be like?

I expect to be astonished by brilliant architecturally designed buildings that not only look good, but are fused with history and lore from the world of Asulon. Im also looking forward to an intelligent community, which often is part of any roleplay community.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?

I have played on two other servers in my past minecraft experience; Dangazzm and Arkcraft. In both circumstances, I did not leave either of them. Dangazzm went dark a few months after I joined, and Arkcraft, which followed in Dangazzm's footsteps, sadly went dark just a few days ago.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?

Yes, I have been eyeing this server for quite a while now, and I have a good grip and understanding of the rules.

How did you hear about us?

I heard about Lord of the Craft from my friends on my old server, and after just a brief glance at the server, I was marveled.

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?

Yes, I was vote 1,070.

What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?

Rakthor

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.)

The night was dark, filled with the dark clouds of a coming storm. Shadows crept among the castle walls, with footsteps echoing through the streets. Cries of terror filled the kingdom. Mothers hushed their young, while together they cried in harmony for their lost loved ones. Utheck stepped onto his terrace, embracing what once was the prosperous capital city of Al'Khazar, in the nation of Oren, only to be destroyed by the darkest evil. Then with once last glance at what was left of the kingdom, he strode toward his wife, Evangeline, who only nodded as he notioned their son in his arms, Rakthor. Gently, Utheck placed his young son, only a few months old, into the arms of his brother-in-law.

"Go," he said. "Take Rakthor to safety, and maybe one day, he will be with us again."

"I shall take him, to protect him from this evil," said his brother-in-law skittishly as he left the room for the last time.

Years went by, and Rakthor, became a lonley child in the orphanage of a small town. None of the other children ever played with him, but Rakthor simply did not care, for he his ambitions consumed his time. Rakthor was a creative child with intelligence far beyond his peers. Every day, Rakthor would slip out of the orphanage and visit the nearby forest. Sometimes, he would just walk or admire the natural beauty of the forest. But what kept Rakthor drawn to the forest were the legends floating around town of the long forgotten city on the other side.

Each day Rakthor explored, he sought to find a path through the dense forest to the forgotten city, in the hopes of seeing it in his own eyes. Now this was no easy feat. There was little known about the forest, aside the horrible tales of the beasts that lived inside it. Orcs were rumored to live in the darkest parts, with elves roaming the densest. It spanned as far as the eye could see from the church tower in town. Rakthor often came back bruised and scratched, but he was strong and did not let anything diminish his spirit.

When Rakthor was 18, he left the orphanage after making a small sum of minas from selling rare herbal goods he had collected in the forest. However, the pay was not much, and Rakthor settled in a small cottage on the edge of town, with a stunning view of the forest. He made tight bonds with the town members, especially the old man who lived on the other side of town. Every week, Rakthor would visit the old man and listen to his legends about the city beyond the forest. He told Rakthor how he had once been a prosperous lumberjack in the flourishing economy of the city. Though when Rakthor asked how the city fell, and what happened to its people, he would refuse an answer.

Only a few days after Rakthor's 28th birthday, Rakthor discovered that the old man who once had been his closest friend, had died. Rakthor was devasted. The poor man would never get to see the city he had once loved, and Rakthor would never know what truly had happened to the forgotten kingdom. But Rakthor was not one to be left pondering, so he made up his mind to set foot on a journey to the forgotten city, no matter how long it would take. Rakthor would do it, for himself, and for the old man.

Your characters ambitions

Rakthor wants to find the forgotten city, not just for his personal means, but for the old man. He hopes his journey, no matter how long or how hard, will be fulfilled. Rakthor also aspires to become a master architect, and someday a proud member of a prosperous society.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

Rakthor slips unnoticed behind the cottage. He grabs a wooden beam leaning against the wooden house with one hand, and with the other, pulls out some poison berries from his sack slung over his shoulder. He throws the berries, which release a oozing purple goo when they explode all over the bandits, causing them to shriek in pain. Rakthor springs from behind the house and smashes down the beam on the bald scalp of the nearest bandit. The other recovers from the suprise attack and throws a weak jab, but Rakthor is much stronger, and counters by smashing the beam across his left cheek, knocking him unconscious.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

"Evening, sir." responds Rakthor. "Would you be interested in some rare herbal goods?"

Rakthor pulls out some soft tear shaped light green leaves.

"Oh dear! Never have I seen such a plant before! What is it?" asks the shop owner.

Rakthor responds, "A medical plant that will heal any burn wound in just a few days."

"Why, Ill take them all, for 2,000 minas!" responds the shop keeper in an excited raspy voice.

"So be!" says Rakthor as they exchange minas for leaves, and Rakthor sets off.

As much as I enjoyed your app there are a few problems.

-This finding of the lost city will be near impossible because of a certain event. I would like for you to figure out this event by looking in the wiki under "Books and Lore".

-Your first role-playing scenario is breaking a major rule by attacking without role-playing. This will get you banned very quickly.

If you are still unsure of why you were denied, send me a pm and I

Will gladly explain.

If I am not on, go to the teamspeak channel "Application Team chat"

For above problem.

Please wait 2 hours before posting another application.

Have a nice day/night :)
