Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?: I have a good grip on the English language and good grammar. I will prove this to you in this application.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself: I am an avid Minecraft player and I am in the hunt for a new server. I am a very skilled Minecraft player. Also I am a friendly and nice and respectful minecrafter.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?: The time I can spend on the server varies on different days. On weekdays, I could probably spend 1-2 hours on and 3-5 hours on the weekends. Sometimes I’m on more sometimes I’m on less.

What do you know about Roleplaying? Give a definition of what it means to you.: I know quite a lot about roleplaying. It means to interact with other players/characters in such a way that follows your character or role.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are. Metagaming means to play a game beyond its "limits" (aka. mods/plugins for minecraft). Powergaming means to seek dominance over players and the system and to frustrate other players. This is a common type of player in RPGs.

What do you expect this server will be like?: I expect this server will be one of the most fun servers I’ve ever played on. I love RPGs so this will be awesome.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?: I have played on many servers, but the few I have stayed with for a long period of time are Arkcraft (I left because the server shut down) and ShatteredMines (It was just getting old).

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?: I have read the rules. I, ECW456, hereby accept all terms and conditions that LOTC has and I agree to the rules.

How did you hear about us?: I found this server by my good friend telling me about it. He is also applying now to.

Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you? I have and I was number 1,575. I will continue to vote for this server whenever possible.

Character Name: Elessar Helyanwë

What is your Race?: The race of Elessar is Elvin.

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Elesser was born to a poor family of farmers. He had 3 brothers that all helped his father on the farms. Elesser, he was not like that, he did not want to become a farmer. He wished to be a soldier. He suggested his idea to his brothers and they laughed and said, “You?!? In the army?!? Ha!” Discouraged, he ran to the woods to be alone. He sat on a tree stump and thought for a while. He looked down and saw the perfect stick to train with. He started to swing it around and thought he was pretty good. He invited one of his brothers into the woods and asked him to spar. His brother beat him within 2 minutes. He gave up stick fighting and went back home for supper.

The next day, after finishing his chores on the farm, he traveled out to the woods again, hopeful to find a way. He saw some string lying on the ground. He picked it up, and used the stick and fashioned himself a makeshift bow. He then sharpened a stick for an arrow. He saw a beetle on a nearby tree and decided to try and shoot it. He barely missed it. He was pleased with his shot. He had finally found something he was good at. Archery. He trained any time he could get away from the farm.

When he turned 18, his dad came called him and his brothers to the table. He told then that he was retireing and he wanted them to take over the farm. Elesser didn’t want to be stuck running a farm, but he agreed to it anyway since he did not want to disappoint his father.

He worked day in and day out at the farm. He longed for his bow and the woods. After the first harvest, he collected his share of the money. He had just enough to buy himself a good bow. He went out to the local marketplace and purchased all the necessary supplies for an archer: a bow, arrows, and a quiver. He decided he would run away from the farm and live on his own in the woods. He left a quick note explaining to his parents why he had to leave. At nightfall, he set out on his journey.

He made it through the first day and night, but on the second night he ran into some trouble. Some bandits took him by surprise and tried to raid his camp. He jumped up and grabbed his bow. He injured 2 of them out with an arrow through their arm. Then ran away screaming in pain. The last one, though, caught him on the side of his face with a dagger. Elesser swung around and grabbed the dagger and stabbed the bandit in the neck. Astonished by his first kills, Elesser fell down on his make shift bed, shocked by this new feeling.

Over the next month or so, Elesser continued his nomading. He never settled for more than a night at a time. He is open to the option of settling down if he finds a good enough place. That is how he is now, at the age of 19.

Your characters ambitions: Continuing getting better at archery, and improving his swords skill. He also wishes to travel into the path of magic if he ever gets the chance.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do? My character would avoid the fight all together. Better not to get yourself involved in things that you don’t have to be.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer? My character would kindly ask the shop owner what he has for sale. He would then shop and buy whatever he needed, then move on.
