The Grilo Clan

((We were accepted, now I just need to prove the clan's worth in game to become a Wargoth clan. Then, soon after I will start work on a charter and getting an outside camp set up. - Thanks for the support guys.))

Pre-Clash of the Clans:

Settled not too far from San’Rax in the grassy mountains surrounding the desert, lays a small cluster of stone huts, smoke rising from each of them. Here in this small settlement lies the small goblin village of Grilion. This small village only consisted of a few farms in the small valleys, and the few stone huts mentioned earlier. Despite their outside appearance, a group of blade wielding Goblin warriors of the Grilo clan are stationed in the center. Their purpose is to protect the small village from the warring clans outside their thin walls. In their time of peace the Clan was able to train their skills with swords and daggers and pass it down the progeny, creating a strong race of Goblin warriors, led by the great Grindlin’Grilo. When the time came to defend their allies, the Rax clan, from the foreign Jak clan, their training would prove not enough.

Clash of the Clans – The Fall of Grilion and Grindlin:

While Tythur and his men of the Rax clan fought the Ta clan, the Grilo had their own problem. Or’ta redirected some of his troops to the small village of Grilion in order to cripple their support. Among these troops were those of the Jak clan.

As the foreign troops approached, Grindlin’Grilo began to rally his troops with his son, Grox’Grilo, by his side. Right when Grindlin’Grilo began his speech, the thin walls of Grilion were bombarded with large stones launched by catapults. The walls crumbled and the strong force of warriors slaughtered the villagers, but the Grilo Warriors fought back.

Small groups of Goblins would work together to bring down the giant Orcish warriors that surrounded them. However, when a Goblin was caught alone, the giant axes of the Orcs would destroy their smaller bodies in an instant. The village of Grilion burning around them, the Goblins continued to fight. The battle did not last long, as the village was weak. Standing in the rubble of his city and the blood of his fellow Goblins, Grindlin’Grilo was the next to be slaughtered. A simple brute of the Ta clan was Grindlin’s end. The powerful blow from the axe nearly split the Goblin in half.

The Revival

Their village of Grinolin gone and their leader Grindlin dead would not mean the end of this clan. Grindlin’s son Grox survived the battle and would later have a cub, Gxonab. Near the beginning of the Gorkil’s revival, Grox would pass on to Krug, leaving his son Gxonab with the charge of reviving the clan his grandfather once ran.

((I also have some cultural things if this is accepted. For example: When someone becomes an official member of the Grilo clan, they will have to split their tongue with a dagger as they are a sword wielding clan. - I will add more to this lore as I develop the clan. Thanks.))

I'm liking this. We really need more interesting goblins and goblin lore, especially goblin clans, and it sounds like you're reading up on the lore. Also, I love the tongue-splitting and the fact that all of your ancestors got absolutely slaughtered. Keep working on it, sounds good so far.

Thanks! I am going to be working on recruiting my friends and getting more in depth lore. Possibly at some later time starting a charter and getting a Goblin village running.

Also, if and when the time comes, before you submit a formal charter on the forum speak with Mogroka. We're doing things a little differently when it comes to setting up our clan camps, so he'll likely want to have some input on the process and location. This is after you're accepted of course, but it looks promising, especially if you can recruit some other goblins.

I have a goblin alt who is going to be a slaver once the villian application is accepted, so I'll be sure to look into joining this clan.

So far I have about 8 people from my old server. Some are still making applications though. - But our main focus right now is recruiting and getting our name out.
