Before the application I would like to appoligize for my last application, I pressed tab a few times and it posted my unfinished application.

Out-Of-Character:

Minecraft Account Name:

Znes6

Did you attend minecon and sign up at the LOTC booth?:

Unfortunately I wasn't able to attend due to a school trip to Carnegie Hall, in addition I didn't even know about LOTC at the time.

How old are you?:

14 1/2

Time-Zone/Country of Residence:

The United States/GMT-5:00

Do you have a good grip on the English language/good grammar?:

Definitely, I attend a extremely prestigious school which strictly emphasizes English/grammar. I've written dozens of essays and read numerous books to a point where I think my English skills far surpass exceptional.

Small 2-3 Sentence Description of yourself:

As stated beforehand I'm 14 and live in the U.S, I love sports, I play(ed) on my school's soccer and cross country team, while playing basketball in a house league. I attend Thomas Jefferson High School and I intend to be a military officer when I grow up. Even though in this application it's going to seem as I'm a very formal person, this is because this is an application and I take it very seriously, although I'm a very easy-going guy in real life and will act that way in the server.

How much time could you be on the server weekly?:

My daily schedule is quite heavy so I should be able to squeeze in a hour or more on weekdays and 3 or 4 on weekends, so around 12 hours on a good week.

What do you know about Role playing? Give a definition of what it means to you.:

Quite frankly I don't know that much, I first got into RPGs earlier this year when I purchased Skyrim and had tons of fun with that. Role playing is the skill of being another person, engaging in daily activities, socializing, and life in general to your best of abilities. You guide your character through various scenarios choosing the best way to go about life in YOUR opinion.

In your own Words, describe what Metagaming and Powergaming are.:

Basically metagaming is when you use information that aren't meant to be with role play to gain an advantage on others in game. It's a crime in RPG servers and is dealt with accordingly. An example of Metagaming is using the name above someones minecraft character to identify them. Power gaming is when you make your character the optimal person with little to no flaws. This makes the power gamers over powered.

What do you expect this server will be like?:

I expect it to be tons of fun where I can basically relax and meet other people who have the same interests as me. I've watched many videos about Lord of the Craft on youtube so I think I have a good feel on what it would be like. Personally I think role playing would be more interesting than regular minecraft because there's always something new going on.

What other server(s) have you played on and why did you leave them?:

I've played on many servers but I really on stuck to 3 of them. These included Revalior Gaming, Blueshift-Gaming, and Crimson Craft. Revalior was my first real server I played on, I got to Game Master but quickly found that the server wasn't what I had hoped to find.

Blueshift-Gaming was by far my favorite server to this point. I played from the beginning of its creation during the Summer of my transition between middle school and high school. I played actively and quickly advanced through the ranks, finally ending up as a Super Admin while also reviewing staff applications alone. I owned a town and was EXTREMELY active on the forums, second only to the owner himself. I still play on the server but it's become repetitive and quite frankly, boring. After spending 7 months on the server I decided that I should step down and now am just a VIP, coming on occasionally.

Crimson Craft was my most recent server but after spending 1 month on it I realized it was basically a worse copy of Blueshift because it's owner/staff were ex-blueshift members.

Have you read, understood, and agreed to the rules?:

Yes, I've spent the past 3 days studying up on the forums and looking at various guides.

How did you hear about us? Have you voted for the Lord of the Craft on Minestatus? Which vote number were you?

I learned about LOTC from a moderator in Blueshift who showed me his new skin a week ago, saying it was for this cool role playing server he played on. He showed me around the server via screen share on skype and since then I have been checking out the forums and youtube videos about the server, finally deciding today to make an application. I'm new to minestatus.net but I managed to vote for the server. I was vote 2670 if I remember correctly but I may be wrong.

What is your The Lord Of Craft forum account name?

Znes6, I try to keep my names the same thing to avoid confusion.

In-Character:

Character Name:

Lance

What is your Race?:

Human

Biography(This should include the history of your character and his life as well as age, appearance and personality, etc.):

Well I felt this would be a great opportunity to make a story instead of a regular bland biography about my character. If you want me to make this into a regular biography just tell me and I will. Hope you enjoy it!

My fingers curled around the grip of my M16A3, the explosions repeatedly pounded my eardrums, general chaos surrounded me. I marvelled at how my life had went from perfect to crazy in a matter of days. My parents had always told me I shouldn't have entered the U.S Army Reserves but I loved my country, and I could never live it down if I didn't pay it back for all the good it had given me. So here I was, death filling my ears, facing an international crisis that could plunge the world into an apocalyptic disaster zone.

"LANCE!!!" the unforgiving shout broke me from my day dreaming. I looked up to see our red faced staff sergeant point deep into enemy territory, where a portal that could create utter destruction lay. The spit out monsters unimaginably horrible, the likes of which had never seen before on Earth, until now. "TAKE POINT!" he shouted over the sounds of battle,"WE'RE GOING IN!" I shambled from behind the rocks where I had been hunkered down in and took off towards the portal. My squad ran with me, along with the 751 men in my battalion. We ran with weapons blazing, but being picked off one by one. You could see it in all their eyes; complete panic and terror, but one set of eyes was filled with determination, and that was mine. Somehow I had to destroy that portal, the fate of Earth depended on it.

The staff sergeant caught up to me, thrusting a stick of plastic C4 into my hands. "The only way to destroy the portal is to destroy the beacon!" he yelled while pointing so a pointed piece of obsidian. "Plant the C4 and run like hel..." His voice trailed off and his speed slowed, the life draining out of him, a fist sized hole was shot through his chest. It was a fatal wound, death was inevitable. He was a good man I thought. But there was no time for mourning and I was sprinting towards the portal once again.

Nothing stopped me, anything stupid enough to get in my way was blasted aside. Including friendlies. The battalion had long since routed, it was now a solo mission. I paused behind the ruins of a burnt building to catch my breath. Rounding the corner I couldn't believe my eyes; there was the portal, not 100 yards away. Hundreds of dazed monsters were knuckling their eyes, still disoriented from the trip through the portal. Now was my chance, I had only one shot. I ran like hell, ditching any sort of weapon and armor on me in exchange for speed. There was no hope of me surviving a gun fight with all of these demons anyway. 50 yards, 25, 10... "Almost there!" I grunted. I could see the first monsters finally recovering from their nausea, what they saw was a crazed human running through them with no armor or weaponry, just a piece of C4 swinging wildly in his hands. One by one they started to rise, heading after me. I was finally at the beacon, hastily I strapped the C4 to it, priming it as I went. The demons had completely surrounded me now, slowly advancing. My fingers fumbled and I nearly dropped the precious material. "HURRY!" my mind shouted. I heard a distinct beep as the C4 was turned to detonation mode. Now all I had to do was get out of here and press the button on my remote. The only problem was there was no way out of the horde of monsters.

Glancing around I assessed the situation, there was absolutely no way out. Unless.... "No that's crazy." the rational part of my mind said. But sometimes you have to think irrational, already a demon on all fours was springing towards me. I had seconds until it collided with me, seconds until certain doom. I made my decision and sprinted towards the portal. I could feel the vibrations as the thing behind me gained ground. I'd never make it! But I had to, I channelled all of the power I had into my legs, maximizing my speed to an impossible rate. I fumbled for my remote detonator, I grasped it and yanked it out of my pocket. The portal was feet away, I hit the button. A sound of pure, savage destruction rocked the ground but I was already inside the waning portal. My last thought as I entered it was; "Why did it turn from purple to green?" But then my head was slammed into something hard and darkness followed.

Pain, that was all I could think of when I woke up. The thought of opening my eyelids seemed excruciating, but I opened them anyway, sending spears of pain into my head. Above me stood an elderly man, staring curiously down at me. The sight of him made me jump and was rewarded with another minute of unconsciousness. When I finally came to I felt even worse than before. I managed to raise my hands to eye level, glaring at the dirt and blood caked nails. "What happened to me?" I wondered aloud. The man had left, but a wooden bucket full of river water lay at my side. I greedily gulped it all down, spilling more water onto the bed of straw I had been laying on than I consumed. The cold water rejuvenated me and I hoisted myself up. I was in a barn, I noticed to the right side a number of tools including a sword, shield, and hoe. While to the left I noticed a dust covered mirror. I traveled the few short meters to the mirror but it felt like miles.

I gazed at my poorly reflected image in the mirror. I took in the well defined muscles, multiple scars and wounds, and the dark black hair which was sticky from grime and sweat. I looked to be around early 30's but you couldn't be sure. Whatever I had been wearing was in tatters now, but I managed to see a blood soaked name tag, it read; Lance. Overall I looked like I had been through hell and come back.

"Well, now that you're awake maybe you could tell me who you are." said a gravelly voice directly behind me. I turned to see the old man leaning against one of the pig pens.

I looked him dead in the eye and replied,"I don't know."

Your characters ambitions:

My player, Lance, is determined to spread justice throughout the world. He also is trying to regain his memory which he mysteriously lost. Unknown to him, he received a large concussion while traveling through the portal between his dimension, Earth, and his current dimension, Asulon, which was the cause of his amnesia.

Out in the Wilds, your character comes across a small cottage. Outside, there appears to be an elf struggling combat with two bandits. What does your character do?

My character would quickly analyze the situation, noting that if he joined in the odds would be even. Lance would probably jump into the fight without a shred of thought towards his own personal safety. But, his sword skills are below average, (due to the fact he is from a dimension thousands of years in the future) the end result is questionable but most likely with the elf's magic and Lance's determination would overpower the bandits.

Your character walks up to a shop in a quiet market. "Hello, my good sir!" says the shop owner. "What may I help you with today?" How does your character answer?

My character would politely ask for some ale. He would then spark up a conversation really just full of small talk including, where are you from, do you enjoy your job, etc.
