I walk in the snowy night, my cloak flying in the winds. The air is cold, the fires are lit, and the people are at home, sleeping and being with their families.

I walk to the square, and I see the Sarients milling around, they brave the cold and stand here with me, awaiting my orders. Even Maur, a orc who yearns for the deserts, puts on a brave front and stands grumpily next to Tesawa, who seems to be busy sharpening his diamond sword. A smirk crawls upon my face. While I have sworn to chastity, this is my family.

"Loyal sarient, you give me your swords, you give me your shields, but now I want you to lend me your ears!"

I shout across the square, the silence of the night supporting the only sound in the region, the winds carrying my words into the City.

"We are gathered here to march against Rennatus for the crimes they have committed to our beloved Realm! It was a blood debt that was supposed to be paid in Aegis!

We have suffered, we have been harassed, we have been bullied, by our neighboring nation and hated enemy known as Rennatus! Ever since its forming, it has always seeked to destroy us. It was Gaius's last wish, that all nations come together to face Iblees once and for all in the Nether, and set aside any petty differences and arguments.

We did as he asked, we honored Gaius's spirit, may the late Hochmeister rest his soul. But when they DARE think they can bully our citizens, then they DARE think they can harass our Sarients and jeer at him, and these people are not punished, but rewarded in high positions in the Rennatus government!?

No! Lord Reynard has asked for peace and time. Time has been given. 12 years, since we arrived in Asulon, 5 years since Lord Reynard became official regent. He has been the High Chancellor for more than 20 years now, and only now, with war looming ahead, does he ask for peace? Why has he not done anything before that? He has a silver tongue, he could have used it to stop all of this?

He is just as bad as all the corrupt ministers that backstabbed us from the Treaty of Birumvate! Never keeps their promise, never pays his debt!

He sweeps his cloak, flashing the black cross on it, and the other Sarient roar in approval, banging their shields with their swords, creating a din in the middle of the square.

"Sarients! We march at dawn. Tesawa! Get the finest winged helms you have crafted, and distribute them to all the members. Get Valgen to help you.

Maur, you and Gustav fetch and round up the Sarients living in New Sorovitz and Dovasjkr, we gather here in Hanseti to meet our allies."

I turn around, and head back to the Keep, and all I can hear from the square is

"For the Realm!

For Hanseti!

For the Order!

For Gaius!

For Hochmeister Samuel!

For the Teutonic Order!"

I grin and claps my winged helm on, ready to meet the Sarients by tomorrow morn.
