Spark in the dark

Warmth of the Forge,

Ring of the Hammer

Strength of the Arm,

Axes shaped

Swords sharpened,

We are the smiths,

Grand Guild of Aegis,

The Forge is the soul,

Soul of the Dwarves

Written by Thrym Silverfist,

Final lines from Phelrin Irongut

Hail Dwarves of Aegis! We are Arbrek Starbreaker, Mili Irongut, and Nurrak Irongut, Forge-Lords of the Dwarves and this is the guild fer those who wish tah be the greatest Blacksmiths in all of Asulon and wherever else Dwarves may go in teh future. I warn ye however that this guild is strict and requires ye to be active and dedicated. If ye will not commit than ye best not join.

The Positions

Low Smith

All things start at the bottom. This position is fer those beginnin the craft. Smiths who can't yet repair chainmail fall into this category.

Apprentice Smith

These smiths are the same skill level as the Low smiths but have a master who has taken them under his wing.

Blacksmith

When ye reach this rank ye are no longer a learner but by no means an expert. Smiths at this rank can repair chainmail.

High Smith

Veterans in the art, High smiths can repair diamond tools. It is no easy thing to earn this rank.

Forge-Scholar

The Forge-Scholar is the Guild's teacher, and manages all apprentices. All new recruits are to see him upon joining.

Forgemen

One of the few ranks that is gained not by skill, but by dedication and leadership skills. There are Forgemen of Aegis. These are the commanders of the guild. Any smith from the skill level of low to high can become a Forgeman.

Arch Forgeman

The second in command of the guild and chosen successor in the event the Forge Lord steps down or dies. The Arch Forgeman must be a Forgeman before he can achieve this rank.

Forge Lord

The leader of the smith guild.

Honored Smiths

Honored Smith is a position very difficult to gain. It can be got regardless of skill and can be given to the living or awarded posthumously to the dead. A living Honored Smith has as much authority as a Arch-Forgeman but should be given the respect that the Forge Lord recieves.

Applications

Please Note all things involving applications are OOC

If you really read this well put this word at the end of your Forgeman app: Forge

Please note that I am, as of the time of this edit being made, being much stricter on Forgemen apps

Role-Call

Every weekend I will be taking role call to make sure all members are active. I will check at my leisure on each Monday. I am in the Eastern Time Zone so keep that in mind when answering the role. After missing 3 roles you are kicked out of the guild. Forgemen lose their position after missing 2 roles and the 3rd kicks them out. Arch-Forgemen lose there position after missing 1 role. Every two roles you make IN A ROW deduct one strike against you.

For all answering role tell what you can repair at the time of the role so I know when you have reached a new rank.

Honored smiths are exempt from role.
