Bawg 494 Share Posted February 21, 2012 ~ Birth of Kudash ~ Back in the Ancient times, before the fall of Sanhar, the Claimation of Sanjezal, before the savage Clan Wars. A female orc was birthed at the top of a mountain called Okuralz. Her name is was Kudash... She was birthed after seven months in her mother's womb. She was borned too early, she weak, frail, and useless compared to the other orcs. Taunted, and beaten by the other orcs, Kudash was forced to climb the mountain she birthed upon. She had walked through blistering winds, and jagged edges of the mountain, only to find a green sanctuary atop of the mountain. It had taken nearly two weeks to reach the top of the mountain, and she had finally reached the altar where she born. She dropped her wooden staff, and kneeled down before the altar. She began to pray to Krug, begging for the strength of her kin! Krug's whispers had slithered their way into her ears, imitating the taunts of her brothers and sisters. Kudash's eyes roll to the back of her head, and falls to the ground shaking violently. After a few moments, she awakes after a dream of battling spirits. She battled nearly five spirits all at once. She fought couragously in the battle, and had defeated all the spirits. Her soul was stronger than any orc that had lived, and when she had awoken after the Dance of The Spirits. Krug had granted her strength of a Ogre, and the height of a Giant. She had flexed her muscles, smiled. Knowing that she was now not only part of her kin, but better and stronger. There was one last wish she had, to be fertile like her sisters, not to have the sterility of an elf. Krug whispered to her once more, and she raised her head suprised what Krug asked of her. She nodded, and took off a necklace with a single lapis lazuli rock in the center of a golden chain. The necklace her dead mother gave her before she died of a rare sickness. She set the necklace on the altar, and watched it turn to red dust. She meditated as Krug had asked, and prayed to Krug for several months. She had recieved the Blessings of Krug, and traveled back down the mountain. She traveled back to her homeland where she had once came from. She had returned and noticed a large difference and change within the old village. She been praying and meditating for several months, which had only felt like a couple of weeks. Kudash had attracted a mass number of male orcs, and had chosen a strong mate to give her children. Over the years, after a couple wars, conquering many lands, pillaging small villages, slaughtering men that rose up against Kudash and her warband. The Young Kudash had birthed ten children, seven of the cubs were true Uruk-Hai, while the other three had created evil, twisted, and monsterous creatures. There were seven male orcs, and three female orcs. Two of the male orcs fell in love with humans, and elves. They had mated with their wives and created horrible creatures, created orcs that had pale green or grey skin. Orcs that would perfectly speak the human tongue, and wear clothes that a noble would wear. It was literally sickening to the Kudash Warband. Though, the female orc that had drifted off, and became the wife to a elf. They had soon mated, and constructed a monster, that had the tentacles of a squid, the eyes of a spider, the horns of a cow, and the talons of a chicken. It was a hideous monster that had been birthed by the traitor orc. Krug had granted Kudash Strength, Fertility, and Height, but those who would dare to make the bloodline unclean would birth spawns of evil. Kudash's whitewash daughter Kontarii, had not birthed a single spawn of Ibless, but spawned litters of horrible creatures that plagued throughout the Orcish lands. The wheat fields were withered, the carcusses of the cattle were rotten and riddled with flies, the orcs suffered from famine and disease. Kudash and her Warband arose, and mounted their Clan Beasts... The Hippotamus... They had ridden their Hippos through the Forsaken Ghost Town, The twisted creatures roaming the human village feasting upon the corpses of dead men and women. The creature crawled towards Kudash, and she slowly raised her axe. She had slain the beast with a single strike, which meant a order to slay the rest. They were victorious, but suffer a tragedy. Unfortunately, Kontarii was slain by the creatures. Kudash apporoached her daughter's corpse and kneeled down before it. She took her Goblin Servant's crude Orcish blade and ripped out her daughter's right tusk. Kudash... fighting back tears, slowly takes the Lapis Necklace that was around Kontarii's neck, and hands it to the Goblin Servant to carry. All the bodies that are not Kontarii's were dragged out of the small cottage. Kudash said a couple of prayers, and left the cottage. She told her Oldest son it would be his duty to burn the his dead sister's corpse, to honor her life so that she could be in the afterlife with her brothers and sisters. Her tusk and necklace are now buried underneath an ancient tree. A couple of years later, Kudash had gained control of a mountain, so that her warband would always have a place to eat, sleep, and be safe. After a couple of months later, a small group of pale green, and grey orcs apporoched the gates. They begged and pleaded to meet her. Kudash walked towards the gates, and asked why the whitewashes have returned. The spoke of their parents as whitewashes, and they wish not to be like their parents. Kudash was surprised, but was not going to fall for a trick and have a group of whitewashes take out the entire warband. To test their loyalty they were required to gather their most prized possessions, and offer them to Krug. Just as Kudash had when she prayed to Krug for her strength. They had done physical labour around the encampment such as lumberjacking, mining, building, farming, and hunting. The males got writings engraved on their tusks to show information about that orc. The females recieved a Lapis Lazuli rock necklace with a copper chain. The female orcs crafted armour, and weapons at the forge while the men hunted for leather, and food. After these tasks were completed after a couple of weeks, the new Kudashes were required to climb the mountain that shadowed the camp. Climbing the mountain was their first challenge, as they apporoached the top it began to get colder and colder. At the peak of the mountain they all kneeled down before the altar, offering gifts, and their most prized possessions. They all battled the spirits individually, most had won the battles. Though, the ones that had lost were granted the strength, but not the height of a behemoth. As they traveled back down the mountain, Kudash awaited them at the bottom, with a crowd of orcs chanting waiting for their return. The ones that had lost the battle had their hands slashed. Kudash slashed her own hands as well, and offered her hand to welcomes all of the former whitewashes into her family through Blood Oath. This event has allowed whitewashes, to redeemed themselves in the Kudash Warband. Twenty-Nine Years later, war has broken out in the Badlands of Krugmar. Kudash was tending to a brood of hippos in her grove, when a scout had ran to her telling her about the bloodly scene that had occurred. She had lost twelve children that were slaughtered in the fighting, though she kept calm. Kudash believed that a couple orcs were drunk, and her children were caught in crossfire. She ordered her children to lockdown on the fort for a couple of weeks, until the bloodshed in the Badlands settled..
